As mentioned in an earlier post, Tyson Fury called out Tony Bellew last night. Shortly afterwards, Bellew subsequently called out Fury.
It's looking increasingly likely now that this fight might actually happen.
Who wins?
Well Bellew is gunning hard for the fight at the moment. He wants to catch Fury at a low point to give himself the best chance because a 100% Fury would be way too much for him. If they are going to fight, Bellew knows his best chance is to catch him on his return. Here's what he had to say a few hours ago:
They say I’m scared to face the giants of the division so ya know what I’ll do? I’ll fight the biggest of them all, Tyson “Stavros Flatley” Fury anytime... Get your hearing sorted @Tyson_Fury , I’ll fold you like a deck chair son! #BiggerTheyAreTheHarderTheyFall https://t.co/e0IROG9ajR— Tony Bellew (@TonyBellew) November 25, 2017
You seriously believe Bellew wants that fight????😂😂😂 Get real man, you need to wake up to this Sky/Matchroom BS. The only reason Bellew is talking this fight up is because he knows it has zero chance of happening anytime soon and effectively anytime ever. He’s also talking up this fight to add some interest into his meaningless, irrelevant career.
This is a pretty cold and calculated bet by team Bellew. They know this fight will be MASSIVE (Right? I'm from across the pond but I know a big fight when I see one), and with several stroyliness; Fury comeback, both of them being great talkers, and little man vs. Big man. AND I bet Bellew feels justttt comfortable enough because Fury is so out of shape that he can catch him before he gets back to form.
Get Fury at least an 8 rounder in January or ealry February and then Bellew in May or June in a 10 rounder. Fury needs to have a fight scheduled to get in a decent shape and to get the rust off first, can't get in there directly with Bellew after a 2+ years layoff, cocaine, mental and weight problems, they need to take their time with Tyson Fury, If they rush him all their plans will fail.
Wrong. Fury could get in shape and fight Bellew straight away... this is an easy fight and a big money fight.
Fury is too big and too slick for Bellew. He's giving up 6 inches FFS! Fury could go outside and just box his head off or go inside and destroy him. This is a mismatch.
I lean towards Bellew UD.
I think Fury will be in the gym training more to lose weight than for the actual fight. We seen this with Antonio Carver when he fought Hopkins. Though I am not comparing Bellew skill set directly to Bernard.
No way Bellew beats Fury, even if Fury was out of shape he would still toy with Bellew.
You really don't know about boxing if you think Bellew has a chance in this fight.
Bellew gives good sound bites, but i think that's all they are.
His trainer said just last week they wouldn't fight Fury who's too big. I imagine Bellew was just playing it up while he was on TV.
I'm here bellend @TonyBellew I'm waiting on outcome of Ukad situation then I'm ready to move! ❤️ to batter you! @MTKGlobal @SkySportsBoxing https://t.co/wQpYdql2lE— TYSON2FASTFURY (@Tyson_Fury) November 25, 2017

Fury would literally clinch and lean his massive potbelly on Bellew till his back gives out while Fury eats himself the Big Whopper from Burger King!
Tyson "Burger King" Fury by TKO 6th round!
Fury has advantage outside with his long reach.
Fury has advantage inside due to wrestling and leaning his massive body weight on the smaller man.
As Joe Pesci says in My Cousin Vinny, "You're getting fucked one way or the other."
Fury is not no accuracy-haye.
Fury is fast for his weight, has footwork that circles around both bellew and haye and he can punch.
Bellew not winning shit
Get real! Fury’s around 30 stone atm and Bellew can barely sell out the echo arena. There’s no significant money in Tony Bellew, never has been.
Don’t believe all the Sky/Matchroom/Hearn BS hype. This fight has a 0.000001% chance of happening.

There's some money in this fight right now and even if Bellew loses to Fury it doesn't devalue the Haye rematch much at all. Whereas if Bellew loses to Haye in the rematch, the Fury fight would make no sense at all at that point. In other words, it's a good fight for Bellew to take at this particular moment in time, having recently got a win over Haye. He might never be in a position to fight Fury again. And it should be a moderately challenging come back fight for what would be a presumably less-than-100% Fury against a smaller heavyweight with limited power. Both guys know how to sell a fight so it may well be among the bigger purses either guy could generate at this particular moment in time, given their respective positions.

as if this fight has any legitimate chance of happening anytime soon.
