CONOR MCGREGOR hasn't reached an agreement to box Paulie Malignaggi in the spring. Earlier this week, boxing pundit Steve Bunce claimed Malignaggi was confident he'd get to settle the score with his former sparring partner in April. Speaking on the 5 Live Boxing Podcast, he said: "(Paulie) Malignaggi thinks it's done and dusted for April." Click Here To Read More]
In general this talk about sparring is a new thing, I don't recall anyone ever talking about sparring 10 years ago, except a rumour that Tyson before his Douglas loss took a KO in training, other than that sparring is irrelevant
Lol it's funny how you're a perception is reality type of person like Paulie was describing. You, like Conor, think that a few decent moments in sparring actually means something. You can make it big and say that's a novice vs a former champ blah blah blah, when at the end of the day it means nothing, and literally counts for nothing.
IMO Paulie should've never given a fvck about the footage, or the intitial photo. It was clearly too big of a pill for his ego to swallow. He knew a lot of people like you would see it as signficant, and Paulie seems to care a lot about what people think.
Watch your mouth about Conor - that's my man right there and he showed heart changing sports like that to make the fight people wanted to see...
Cowards like Beyonce Wilder will not even go to the UK to make fights in their own sport for 3X more than their highest paycheck..and that's Boxing's Heavyweight Champ?
TF is he talking about!?
I actually don’t think Paulie is chasing dollars by keep bringing this up, I honestly think he means it genuinely. Obviously it’s given him a rush of attention that he is capitalising on, but at the basis of what he says, I believe it. Conor and his team seemed totally deluded in their approach to boxing in the lead up and aftermath, and not much that Paulie has said had been proven wrong at the end of the day.
That being said; we get the point...let’s move along
MMA is a poor mans sport with LOW level talent. And that it includes it’s so called champions, all LOW level atheltes. MMA sucks and will never be better than boxing.
Why is Malignaggi still talking about this? Nobody cares anymore, no matter how desperate he is for a fight and payday with McGregor.
Because in a boxing ring he schools and stops McGrgor and gets a career high purse in the process. Question is why can't you grasp that ?
Malignaggi isn't getting a career high pay day against McGregor unless there is public interest in seeing a fight... there is not. Thus he's just beating a dad horse and should shut up and go back to his 'commentating' gig on SkySports.
I don't care if Malignaggi dominated every other second of every minute of the rest of the sparring - any professional boxer who has footage as bad as the footage that was released against Malignaggi by another fighter who has never had a pro fight should be embarrassed period. That was the worst 15 seconds of sparring I've ever seen of any fighter period let alone a former world champion against a boxing novice.
Yes, McGregor will never release the footage and Malignaggi will never, ever shut the f*ck up about it.
The sparring session was four months ago, yet Paulie still brings this up everyday.

Blame it on that idiot Steve Bunce.
Moron announced on his show that a McGregor vs. Malignaggi deal was done for April. Obviously not.
