ANTHONY JOSHUA will never be in the same league as Muhammad Ali, according to Frank Warren. The boxing promoter also claims he has a better British heavyweight prospect on his hands in Daniel Dubois. Joshua stopped Carlos Takam in front of 75,000 fans at Cardiff's Principality Stadium to retain his IBF, IBO and WBA belts. Click Here To Read More]

Warren is so predictable and tiresome. When he has a boxer, he praises him to the hilt. When a boxer fights for a rival, he denigrates him. When he didn't have Tyson Fury he told us Chisora would whip him, and so on and so on. If he had Joshua, he would extol his wonders. He doesn't so he wriggles with envy. His comparison between the chins of Joshua and Ali is silly at this stage. When Ali was at Joshua's stage of his career, he'd been dropped heavily by two very small cruiserweights (Banks and Cooper). If it had been Klitschko's right cross rather than Cooper's left hook, would he have risen in time? We don't know. But he went on the deserve a reputation for having a firm chin, as did Joe Frazier, who was dropped 11 times (and stopped three times) in 30-odd outings.
He needs to stop putting pressure on that boy. Sure the boy looks good but let him develop, before you put too much pressure on him whilst trying to promote him.
Frank Warren has a dartboard with a picture of Eddie Hearn on it.
Yep, he probably sees Hearn in his sleep. The guy can't keep his composure whenever Eddie is mentioned.
Warren is his promoter so you kind of expect this, but he needs to calm down with the unrealistic praise because it can end up getting your fighter criticised.
DD looks like a good prospect, maybe very good. But lets give it time before saying he's better than the unified HW champ yeah?
warren smoking pot if he rates dubois over Joshua NOW..Joshua won his world title in his 16th pro fight let's see who dubois is gonna be up against in his 16th pro fight or less if he's that good
I think Dubois is the real deal. Surprised Eddie missed out on bringing him in, hopefully Frank doesn't screw it up. Just hope he gets a decent step up next year.
He's still very young and not in his prime. When he hits his prime then it's going to get really interesting.
DDD is already a legend in the UK, thats how it works over there. Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder only got noticed around his 28th pro-fight when he beat Audley Harrison incidentally it happened in the UK! wow! if Deontay started his career in England he be first ballot HOF, better than Lennox Lewis already.
warren doing what promoters do - if Dubois is that good he should be fast tracked against other contenders and prospects - lets see him in with Helenius who caused Whyte some issues with his movement or Marius Wach - get him in with a belt organization 6-10 world ranked fighter - there really are no standout names in there - hell, even put him in with Charles Martin if he was so bad
