ANTHONY JOSHUA has revealed promoter Eddie Hearn has spoken to Tyson Fury about the possibility of a clash between the two fighters next year. Joshua retained his WBA, IBO and IBF heavyweight titles in Cardiff on Saturday night with a 10th-round stoppage win over Carlos Takam. The Olympic gold medallist admitted he is keen to fight a fully-fit Fury, who must first wait for a ruling from UKAD on a suspected drugs ban. Click Here To Read More]
They just won't let this guy be. If Tyson was motivated he'd still be in shape ticking over at the gym awaiting his hearing. This guy's desires gone, his conditioning and voice. Good luck getting him in the ring.
Tyson needs to show he wasn't a one trick pony, he got a decent win over Wladimir but AJ nullified it by stopping him. Tyson needs to come back in the first half of 2018 or stay retired as he is fast becoming irrelevant.
A promoter's job is to promote their fighters to fullest while maximizing their profits at the same time! Wilder would be making more than $900,000 a fight if he had a promoter who was doing the same thing as Hearn is doing for Joshua! Joshua has made more money in his last two fights than Wilder has made his entire career with 20 pro fights to Wilder's 34 pro fights! It has nothing to do with being scared! It's all about the money! Just ask your favorite fighter Floyd! Its a shame that Wilder has been only motivated to fight top fighters within the last 12 months.
I didn't say anything about AJ being wrong for getting paid.I am a fan of AJ too,I just can't stand that he's making himself look shook by Wilder, because he CLEARLY is trying to delay their inevitable fight, for as long as possible in order to continue facing no hopers & fill his pockets, theres a word for that: ducking.
Wilder had signed to fight Several fighters more dangerous than old ass Klit, thats funny that you blame him for chumps dirty pîss & for fighting bums(last min replacements),
but u have no problem with AJ hunting & feasting on bums after the 1st time hes ever stepped up.
& who the hell told u Im a floyd fan let alone hes my fav fighter?I can't stand that prîck
But anyways u can't criticize Wilder for only last 12 mos stepping up,then defend AJ stepping up once & then trying to do everything to get out of shape Fury & other bums who aren't near Wilder paychecks.
They'll try to drag him back right away and claim victory on a rusty unmotivated Fury. His social media makes it very clear the guy is done. His desire is gone. He's enjoying his celebrity and booze.
He'll show up for that check (likely $20+ million) and continue partying away. Its not a "fight" anymore. People need to accept that. Hearn is trying to pull a Canelo v. Chavez on the UK.
Haha! perfect analogy :boxing:

Surprised to see so many crying about this fight. I thought Tyson fury was the real heavyweight champion of the world and Joshua had to fight him to be recognised as such?

Of course, Anthony Joshua potential fights ranked in terms of money:
1. Tyson Fury
2. David Haye (If he knocks out Bellew)
3. Dillian Whyte rematch
4. Deontay Wilder
5. Joseph Parker
6. Everyone else
I'd put Wilder above Whyte there. You could say Wilder isn't that well known in the UK but if that fight was made, the Sky hype machine have a huge selling point in that Wilder is a fellow world champ, sell him as the real threat to AJ in the division, a knockout artist etc. etc.
Whyte isn't an easy sell seeing as everyone saw him get KO'd by Joshua and then just had a stinker with Helenius.
Whyte might be a bit better known than Wilder in the UK but once it's time to sell the fight, they can make the Wilder fight much bigger. There's a lot more selling points. The only way the Whyte fight becomes a big seller again is if he picks up a world title v a good opponent, which i doubt he can.
Obviously Wilder v Joshua is bigger worldwide too.

Tyson is done. Its been years now. Dude is a lard. No way he can get back into anything close to elite fighting shape within 24 months.
Those arguments were being made when it wasn't apparent that he's a broken fighter. Although im not a fan of his, ive been keeping up with his social media considering the state of the HW division. I underestimated how bad he's doing physically. If he's anywhere near 300lbs, I'd be surprised. Looks 350lbs easily.

Aj fans love this idea they want Joshua to keep fighting pies(fury is 300 lbs ffs) to avoid wilderA promoter's job is to promote their fighters to fullest while maximizing their profits at the same time! You are the same people who has been criticizing Wilder the past few years for fighting bums while avoiding fighting top guys are now saying Joshua is afraid to fight Wilder.
Its starting to sound more by the day like you won't fight Wilder because your scared hell snatch your belts & stop the gravy train hearn has u on.:purity:

It's true, Hearn has already offered to help Fury back which I guess would include personal training, etc. But, as others have said, I'm not sure Fury has the desire any more. He posts the occasional video telling everyone he's back, calling out rivals, etc, but then he'll turn up at a show and...
In any case, he would have to be at least at the same level he was when he fought Wlad, if not better, to make a fight with AJ or Wilder remotely interesting.
Whilst I'd prefer the winner of Wilder-Whyte to face AJ in the summer, I'd be just as happy - though I know it'll never happen - to see Fury fight Whyte as a 'warm-up', Wilder fight AJ, both fights in the spring, and the winners of each to fight in the summer.

I must admit: I like this analogy!
They really want this fight, the money they would generate in this fight is just too good for everyone involved. I bet you Team Joshua could turn themselves into Tyson Fury personal trainer, just to get him back to the required fitness to get this fight sorted.
Lmaooo true

They are desperate for easy Fury money, thats why Dirtbag Hearn is using all his connections to finally get ukad to let him fight. Ukad literally was trying to make Fury wait indefinitely to fight which is as unethical as can be considering he hasn't been formally banned & they haven't even allowed him a hearing, instead they intentionally have forced him to wait more than a yr without a word whatsoever.
Yet as soon as Dirtbag Hearn wants to feed him to AJ they suddenly release a statement saying they wanna let him fight now all of a sudden.

lol there's no way a Whyte fight generates more than a Wilder fight. if anything after how Whyte looked against Helenius I have seen many people change opinions on him.
Only way a Whyte rematch would be credible is if he was to beat Wilder first but I think Wilder KO's him.
This would be an intriguing fight and an amazing event but I need confirmation that Fury isn't shot to bits first. Like maybe an eight round tune-up vs some journeyman like Nascimento and then a ten rounder vs some fringe contender like Duhaupas
