RICKY HATTON retired from the sport of boxing for good in 2012 after an incredible career that wrote his name into British sporting history. The Manchester man won world titles across two divisions, taking on some of the sport's most revered and feared in the process. Wins against Juan Urango, Kostya Tszyu and Paulie Malignaggi secured his legacy even before he stepped in to the ring to face all-time greats Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Castillo a C level fighter? Lol he might have been towards the end of his career but no one could call him that. hatton was the first person to KO him too.
he certainly was when he fought Hatton
Paulie is Paulie, poor defence with no punching power. Never an elite fighter.
I forgot Hatton beat Callazo but he barely won that fight and had it not been for the flash KD he would have gotten a draw or lost.
Khan opponents
Callazo
Devon Alexander
Kotelnik
Maidana
Judah
Paulie Mali
Barrera
Julio Diaz
Chris Algeri
I get they arent all world beaters but they were all former World champions who were decent back in the day.
Not sure how people can say Hattons resume was better, Khans beats him by a mile and is actually underrated.

Not true. Coralles had already KO'd Castillo
Apart from Kosta Tyzu who was old he beat nobody
Urango and Castillo were C level fighters, when youre bragging about beating Paulie Malig on your record it means u have nothing

Amir Khan despite him being KTFO more than once has a bunch more impressive names on his resume
names you mean like barrera? certainly that doesnt count for anything. judah, maidana, kotelnik and malignaggi are his best wins so hatton def has the better resume imo.
“If I did everything people said I did I wouldn’t have won four world titles in two different divisions.”
Ricky if you had honest judges you wouldnt have won that bogus title at 147. And if the ref didnt let you wrestle your win over ancient kostya would have been in jeopardy.
excellent post
To be fair, the only loss Malignaggi had at the time was a UD loss to Miguel Cotto. Everyone knew at the time Malignaggi was an elite boxer.
A win against Malignaggi years later is nothing to brag about, a win against prime Malignaggi who had won the IBF title and defended twice is.
I wonder how old you are, and if you watched the build-up and fight. Hatton was meant to lose against all the above fighters in general consensus, which makes those wins even better, all underdog wins.
Your taking ****,Hatton was underdog v Urango Castillo Malignaggi ....????wtf he was fav against all them infact massive fav against Urango
