ANTHONY JOSHUA expects another battle in his world title defence against Carlos Takam as the Cameroonian's head is a block of cement'. Joshua will put his IBO, WBA 'super' and IBF heavyweight titles on the line against Takam in Cardiff on October 28. Takam has been drafted in to replace the injured Kubrat Pulev but will likely prove to be an equally tough test for Joshua. Click Here To Read More]
Povetkin was juiced to the gills. Saying that, I think Takam walks on to something from AJ and gets stopped.

Roided? Juiced? LOL
You have no freaking clue what Meldonium does. It does not give you more strength, just the ability to work out longer. Again, IT WAS LEGAL!.
They all are juiced to the gills as you say.
But Takam is a tank... go watch the fight, it was actually quite good.
Fans pay not enough attention to Takam. Like Joshua said, a solid rock for a head. You don't find many fighters that tough and durable. I think Anthony beats him, but not without some seriously hard work... and he'll have to have his defense in order start to finish... all excellent work he needed anyway.
AJ will use his stature and reach advantage to knock out Takam.
if Povetkin could do it, why can't a bigger frame with heavy handed Joshua do it in front of a vociferous fans...Early KO

Takam is a better fighter than a lot are giving him credit & IMO a level above Chisora/Whyte. He arguably beat Parker, he was on even terms with a roided to the gills Povetkin and was robbed vs Mike Perez.
He's a tough guy. Not saying he wins, I don't really see it but he's one of those incredibly durable Cameroonians that piles the pressure on. I want to see AJ vs a real durable pressure fighter. Maybe Takam can soak it up and somewhat exploit AJs stamina problems?
Rather see him in with Wilder, Ortiz & the likes but Takam isn't a *bad* fight.
This fight may end sooner than everyone expects because Takam will be coming forward playing into Joshua's strengths. I give it 4 rounds.
Im not sure about that. AJ hasnt fought a fighter like Takam before who has a bit of headmovement and defensive nous on the inside. Also a reasonable counter puncher too which might make Joshua cautious if he lands right. His stocky short frame could cause him some issues aswell. These are all things he hasnt had to deal with at the top(ish) level.
Could end up being a tricky night in terms of him getting the KO, though i think he will get to him late.

Yeah I think it will be short and sweet, with Takam landing a few of his own but not being able to hurt Joshua. The Pulev fight would have been a better test of Joshua's skills, particularly on the outside
Carlos Takam couldn't even KO a 42 year old Tony Thompson who Klitschko had previously knocked out twice -- and that was Takam's best win over three years ago before recently getting brutally KO by Pedvetkin ( I keep using the word KO here you understand??).
I wonder whats going to happen in this fight? I wish somehow I could watch this fight even if it meant paying for it like the lucky folks in the UK.
