would he go through it undefeated? or take a few L's
if we look at Klitschko's resume, he foughts guys like Ray Mercer, Alexander Povetkin, Kubrat Pulev, David Haye, Samuel Peter, Chris Byrd, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, Ruslan Chagaev, Corrie Sanders, Sultan Ibragimov, Bryant Jennings, Francois Botha, etc.
Wilder's best opponent so far is Stiverne, who is probably not as good as any of these guys. so I say..Wilder loses to most of these guys, barring a lucky KO punch victory to a few guys.
Wilder bombard ALL of them!
Sanders and Haye would be his toughest fights!
Guys like Fury who don't have punching power won't bother Wilder cuz he would just increase his work rate and make Fury trade with him!
PEDvetkin would get knocked stiff into oblivion with that lack of head movement!
Peters would make it a rough nite but Wilder would stay behind his jab all nite and set him up for right hand bombs till he either gets laid out or takes a thrashing for 12 rounds with brain bleeds!
People don't know that Wilder is the most feared fighter in boxing!
I find the idea that Wilder will have the same knockout record, never mind more than Wladimir Klitschko's hilarious when Wilder hasn't even knocked out a single opponent from the top 10. In other words, Wilder hasn't done anything to suggest that he even qualifies to be compared to a boxer of Wladimir Klitschko's level. In other words, Wilder hasn't done anything at the level of Wladimir Klitschko thus far.
Instead, it's more appropriate for Wilder to be compared to the likes of Alex Stewart, since his level of accomplishment is similar to Stewart's than to Klitschko's.
Probably double digit losses if he fought the whole list, especially assuming each fight takes place at the same stage that his fights of the same number did. He didn't fight any live opponents for the first 25 fights or so, a bunch of the guys Wlad fought were better than anybody Wilder has faced to this point
i think povetkin haye and maybe sanders would have knocked him out cold. He gets hurt too much even by low-tier opponents to take the bombs those 3 managed to slip in. Byrd would have been a tough fight too.
sultan is a wildcard because he retired on his first loss & i never really got a feel for how good he was but wilder would have a big size advantage.
jennings, pulev, & sam peter before he gave up on himself would be closer fights.
i can't really remember what point in their careers francis botha & ray mercer were at when they fought wlad
fury would just shut him down, he was a big sloppy fighter like wilder early in his career but he started to look really polished towards the end. If anything Wilder should try to emulate the same changes.
