Hurd is overrated

He fights like old Foreman.

After watching him KO a razor sharp Trout I don't think he is overrated at all. I underrated him. He showed a good chin, stamina and determination combined with a long heavy jab and real power in both hands. He is a hard fight for any 154 pounder and he will surely get better yet. He would lose to Lubin. That's for sure

Hurd is sloppy but his last two fights were really fun to watch

Naw IDK man. I've been very critical of tonight s fights but Hurd even though I had trout schooling him at first kept his composure, showed a great beard, brought power, and applied pressure wisely. Hurd is the truth. I think he is the #1 guy at 154. Charlo beat an amateur Imo... Charlo proved tonight that he has ATG talen. May be one of the most talented 154 pounder ever.

He makes sooooooooooooooo many technical mistakes. Which is to be expected from a guy who started late and had no ami career. What he has goig for him is he is ****ING ENORMOUS, has a quality chin, and freakishly long arms.

He Keeps Winning! :dunno: Looked better vs Trout as I expected. He found his jab, also worked better strangle when he dropped his hands. I do think Jermell Charlo beats him though!

Hurd isn't overrated. How do you overrate a fighter like Hurd? He's a champion because he's big, strong and is a good body puncher. He isn't your typical pure boxer...he's a fighter and he throws a hard jab, takes a good shot and isn't bad defensively. And he never tires. He will have to raise his game against Charlo though. He went southpaw against Trout and that's when the fight changed. That was smart. Once Hurd knows that you can't hurt him, he puts on the hurt. This right here. The kid is strong, continues to press forward, believes in his chin and his power, fights with heart, and works the body early with the results showing in the 2nd half of fights. Might be the most relaxed fighter in the ring right now. Hurd = ‘Mexican style’ (at least as most fans describe it on this forum)

Hurd is crude but if anything, he was underrated leading up to the fight. Everybody was on Lubin's nuts. I didnt see anybody putting Hurd on a pedestal.

Who's rating him high? I think he could wear down Lara but he won't beat Charlo. He may get brain damage from the shots he'd take in that fight.

trout isnt trash, hes not elite but top 10 at least and first to stop him I know he's not trash and he really is top 10. Thank you.
