Well... theres not money fighting Paulie... Why would he fight a retired boxing analyst? U think he would make money? Unless its a big name why would he fight a boxer? In Paulie's (and boxing's) defense, Paulie didn't say he was going to be the ufc's new god. Conor said he was going to be boxing's. There's no way Conor's people let him get back into the boxing ring and get beaten two times in a row by boxers. Even though he's a very good mma fighter, he could potentially damage his brand and credibility. That's why he's saying "come to the octagon". Trying to save a little face and also knowing it would never happen. And I've got to say, Irish people are very proud and respectful and respect driven people, and I really felt he was a sore loser against Mayweather and the way he continues to talk about it.
