Since his tests have come back dirty, there is no way that Eddie Hearn allows AJ to fight him next; Even though he is his WBA mandatory challenger.
We just may see Wilder vs Joshua much faster than we had originally thought because at least Wilder is a clean fighter.
I think Ortiz will be relegated to obscurity like Povetkin. Still, I have doubts that Hearn will let AJ fight Wilder in the next year. Expect this to "marinate" like Oscar did Canelo/Golovkin.
Which makes me think they should set up Ortiz vs Povetkin for the PED championship of the world. :D
I'm joking, but it would actually be a damn good fight and I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Hearn has explicitly stated that Joshua is fighting 3 times next year and that he wants Wilder in Feb/March (when Joshua's first fight of the year) or at the very latest the summer (Joshua's second fight of the year).

I agree bro! I do not think Ortiz really deserves a title shot right now. This is his second time popping dirty. He has to go to the end of the line imo
Ortiz should get a 5year ban.
Pretty sure Ortiz loses his wba mandatory spot if he fights for the WBC..
I don't think what he was caught with will affect the wilder fight.. wilder stops him either way.. I think Ortiz might be up or close on the cards but wilder will catch him and it will be lights out
Even if Ortiz is still the mandatory, WBA also have a clean boxing programme with VADA just like WBC so Ortiz will be dropped for testing positive.
