Heagler won on my card. Leonard tried to steal rounds with flurries at the very end of rounds after losing the first 2 minutes and 50 seconds of the round. Leonard was the media darling and I think that influenced the judges. Hagler was murder in rematches. He always learned from the first fight and did even better in a rematch. Leonard refused to rematch Hagler so Hagler retired in disgust. I think he would have KOed Leonard in a rematch if Leonard had the balls to rematch him. Leonard made Hearns wait many years to rematch him after Hearns had looked bad in his last fight. Hearns dropped Leonard twice in the rematch and kicked his ass but had to settle for a bogus draw.
i thought Hagler did enough to retain his titles...i thought srl totally ran in the championship rounds and gave up any lead he had....at the same time i could see a judge scoring srl 115-113 for all the pitty pats he landed, but damn is that how you want to say you beat the man?...lol
the 117-110 (118?) card was real suspect...

Leonard. Hagler let himself down with the first four rounds and showed Leonard too much respect. It's a fight he could have won convingly but Leonard got in his head.
I had Hagler winning. I don't score rounds to a fighter who only fights during the closing 30 seconds of each round in order to steal rounds form the judges.
Hagler. Closer than it should have been, but not close enough to steal. 115-113 but he had 6 CLEAR rounds, with 4 clear Leonard rounds and two close rounds that perhaps could go either way.
