Again, he's a B level fighter with a great chin, but his skill is lacking vs better opposition. HBO has fooled most everyone with all of this hype, that is coming to an end and in May, will be rid of it. And if he wins in May it'll be done with smoke and mirrors again? Middleweight ain't a great division, but it wasn't he's fault Pirog and Eubank Jnr didn't come off. Nobody is saying he's Ray Robinson, but B levels abit harsh. He is what he is, he's generally in good fights, I don't know why you can't appreciate that type of style, but each to he's own, we'll see in May.

Well your entitled to that. I think it was a good fight. I think Golovkin is a good pressure fighter and I think he's pressure made Canelo gas. You've got to have a good chin and decent skills to stay on a par with Alvarez. Like I say it was a good fight, that most seem to think Golovkin won, and were probably gonna have a rematch. Excellent post, Canelo was a fortune teller! Told Golovkin luck is for the mediocre and yet ggg gets outboxed and gets gifted a draw while nearly everyone claimed Canelo lost and got beaten up! How did he look vs Canelo though? Let's be unbiased here. Canelo looked imo far superior as far as skill goes. Had canelo not gassed, do you think the fight would've been close at all? It seems like you can't be objective yourself because some of the Golovkin fans are abit ridiculous on here. Golovkin seems to be flamed just for having competitive fights with world class fighters. The Jacobs fight was close, but people on here acted like it was Chavez Whitaker. Now Golovkin looked to have done enough to have beaten the "future of boxing" and he's a bum who'll lose a rematch. And he is the age he is. Who didn't look worse at 35? If were talking Hopkins he didn't start until he was late twenties, no amateur fights, and really is an exception. I've never seen a pressure fighter who didn't regress by 35. Before the fight = Golovkin has great footwork, a master of cutting off the ring. Canelo is slow, he's going to get beat up.
