That said, I want nothing more for both the people of Puerto Rico and Mexico(as well as the island of Dominica) to rise above and beyond. Wow this thread is the saddest thing I've ever seen. Canelo/Floyd fans are actually trying to define Mexican style as something other than boxing like a warrior. Yeah man. What people don't seem to understand is that like 99% of these people would rather be in Syria than wherever they fled to. They didnt want to leave. Most of them are Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Engineers etc but get treated like vermine in some places. My Dad always told me to ask someone who questioned the actions of people who fought against Apartheid (Thank God I was 9 when that BS ended. And peacefully i may add) "What would you of done?" And the same goes for people who talk bad about refugees. "What would you of done?" Our elected officials care more about building themselves $250 000 000 dollar homesteads than opening our borders. Hell our Government wouldn't even let the Dalai Lama in. Sorry for only asking this now but where you from?? War is big business in some parts of the world... it's kept going by allot of first world nations due to gun trafficking and weapons sales. I can't imagine the pain and heartache that happens from situations like this. But to have people who i voted for represent me in being that change is awesome! I love it! Coming from a muslim background we are often asked to donate to folks in Syria or Palestine and Myamar and I'm up front enough to say there are people starving and struggling here in our town I'd much rather help them.
