GGG turned 27 Years old in April 2009 and he'd already been a PRO for 3 Years!
GGG was still fighting complete nobody journey men like Anthony Greenidge (13-2-1) and John Anderson Carvalho (19-3-1).
At 27 Years old, Canelo has already faced Mayweather, GGG, Erislandy Lara, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Austin Trout, Amir Khan, Julio Caesar Chavez jr, Migual Vasquez (Future world Champion), Carlos Baldomir(Ex World Champion), Liam Smith(World Champion) Lovemore Ndou (Ex World Champion), Ryan Rhodes, Alfonso Gomez, Kermit Cintron, James Kirkland, Alfred Angulo and Josesito Lopez.
GGG had hundreds of amateur fights. Canelo didn’t. What’s your point? Prime Canelo still ran away from old and slow GGG...
^^^^^^this. Even canelos mom knows he didn't deserve a draw. He lost.

Actually it was GGG who pussied out.
Canelo sat on the ropes for half the fight, about as far away from running as you can get? and it was GGG who didn't fully commit to attacking him on the ropes.
And as far from Golovkin as he could get.
You got two hate threads going on GGG at the same time. Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? Why are you so obsessed with making everyone else think GGG is as lousy as you think he is? Hopkins had no fights at all until he was 30 years old and he lost his first fight at age 30. GGG got a late start as a pro. Before that he was busy winning 345 amateur fights out of 350 fights and that is not easy to do. GGG has been a world champion since 2010 and that's longer than any boxer fighting today. He has made 19 successful title defenses and that's more than any champion fighting today. You make yourself look stupid trying to turn a great fighter into some mediocre boxer. Almost all the pro boxers and a big majority of the boxing fans think he clearly beat Canelo who you think is so wonderful even at his age of 35 so how bad can he be? Canelo can have another shot at him anytime Oscar gets his nerve up. GGG would fight Canelo in December 2017 if it were up to him.
Promotional problems and 400 amatuer fights. Canelo started practicing pro boxing at 15,so it took him a while to build up to being the only superstar of boxing who gets run around the ring by a 35 year old.
It's not like it was Golovkin's fault. Canelo had the luxury of being scouted early and his career has been carefully managed. Golovkin's story is public, he wasn't satisfied with his promoter back in Europe because they weren't able to secure him better fights. Thus, that's why he came to the states in and finally started receiving more exposure in 2012. But the fact that he was a relatively unknown guy knocking out all of his opponents meant fighters weren't willing to fight him for low-reward, high-risk. Canelo has just been managed better.
At 33 he was still fighting journeymen. Anyway, he's #1 right now and you can't take that away from him. The next year will be interesting for sure, especially if the Canelo rematch happens or he fights Charlo (which won't happen).

After being a pro for 3 years, Alvarez was fighting guys with losing records between fighting for the WBA fedecentro title
He would have only been 18 Years old by then lol
At 15 Years old, Canelo fought Future Lightweight World Champion Miguel Vasquez, a better opponent then GGG has ever faced up untill 2017!
At 27 B-Hop was as well.
Different fighters have different circumstances in their lives and careers.
For all we know Canelo will be burned out by 29 and taking beatings by his early 30s. Or maybe he takes an early retirement after making a bucket load of cash. Probably not but who knows.
What's your point? He is where he is now. On top of the division with a win over a really good fighter in Danny Jacobs and a Draw that could've went either way against Canelo.
