It's a lottery to be honest. LHW is a really good division at the moment and some good fights can be made. Bivol or beterbiev would be my choice. It's strange how the division can lose its number 1 fighter and probably number 1 P4P and not be diminished in any way.
well jack could also get dropped, beat up, outlanded in almost every round and have the judges say he was the winner. thats always an option as well. i'm not sure he has the greatness to pull that off though.
Waaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!
I think either Jack or Gvozdyk will emerge victorious. I have no faith in Kovalev returning back into form. Beterbiev is getting old and is still involved in dispute with GYM. Alvarez and Stevenson are still dancing around, and if they do eventually fight, I'm sure the winner will be protected.
Gvozdyk looks like the man to beat right now. I think he takes over the division in an ultimate showdown with Jack. Stevenson will likely retire after fighting another no-hoper or two. Not sure where Kovalev goes from here.
I would like a WBSS for 175 for sure, so many great fihts there, a tourney is just whats needed for all them vacant belts. If ramirez and benavidez start getting tight at 168 too, they'd be great additions to this division.
As for stevenson, what a damn shame the guy has wasted it
Who would be good for an 8 man tournament?

I've got nothing against Jack, but I don't see anything special in him. He's extremely well-rounded and solid. But, he's not beating Kovalev, Gvo, or Beterbeiv right now. I'd put him 50/50 against Stevenson. That's a fight I'd love to see. Or, Barrera.
why couldnt jack beat kovalev? just hit him in the testicles a bunch. ko win. easy. we know his weakness
2018 will be interesting in the LHW Division...Notice Stevenson is the only current belt holder now... Yeah, besides Jack "Regular WBA Paper Belt"...:boxing:
Kovalev will be fighting for a title, for sure.

You don't see Jack going to far? Kovalev gets a ton of shit but out of his two fights with Ward there were maybe 2 or 3 rounds that actually warrant that.

I think Kovalev takes it back. Granted, defeats like the last one can be crushing, mentally. But, if he gets his head on straight, his combination of skill and power is better than anything anyone in the division has to offer.
I'd place Gvo as the next most likely to rule 175.
