There's still time, but people remember who you fought and GG has just 1 memorable name on his resume, and he didn't even get a W for that one. If anything you're drawing attention to the fact that Golovkin's resume is sad and empty compared to Hopkins. And, sorry if this blown your little mind, but I like GG way more than I like Hopkins.

I'm assuming many are counting the Brook fight which didn't include the WBA title but it was still his 18th straight fight defending a title of some sort which gave him 17 defenses. Jacobs would be the 18th and Canelo would be 19th. So he has either 18 or 19 title defense assuming how you look at.
