Yes this card was wide thats understood.. but people are acting like shes always been a bad judge for years or something.. arum complained and didnt want her to do the loma fight for some reason but wheres her history of being crap?
To eliminate further bias, I think the TV should be split into four different angles (for big matches with at least 4 cameras, obviously). That way they can get the best impression without being influenced by an incompetent TD.
I would have a wide camera located at each corner of the ring. The judges have one angle each to make their decisions, with the 4th camera being used for subscribers/members who would like to view/score the fight as a judge.
You would still have the regular boom cams and such, but the "post cams" would just jump to the adjacent cam when the fight moves to that corner. Actually, I would also place the judges in "viewing pods" to view their respective screen and cut out the audience so they don't influence or distract them.
I think judges should have to score the fight while watching it on a big screen television. You have a much better vantage point with up close camera angles than you do sitting at ringside. Especially when the fight is taking place on the other side of the ring and the ref is in your field of view.

she has a long history of being a sh1tty judge you casual moron.
lol wtf did i tell you kid, dont mention me until you man up and reply to me in the rigo loma thread
Thing is, it only takes one bad night in boxing to do irreparable damage, either as a judge or a ref. You can be a great ref, but have one bad night like Richard Steele, Pat Russell or Weeks and be labeled an incompetent moron.
Byrd screwed up the scoring for Hopkins/Calzaghe, fortunately it didn't cost Calzaghe the fight. Her scorecard on Saturday was as bad as CJ Ross scoring of Manny/Bradley and Floyd/Canelo. Incompetent and/or corrupt judges can have a serious impact on a fighter's career and potential earnings.
Burt Clements didn't know how to score three knockdowns in a round, so he cost Manny a win versus Marquez in their first fight because he is incompetent. It should have been overturned. Look at Melvina Lathan, another incompetent mess. Dave Moretti usually turns in some outrageous scorecards as well. Duane Ford another senile old fart.

She scored it 3-0 for a UFC fighter when in reality the other fighter won every round. Dana White was going off on her in the past.
