Was that a genuine mistake?
I mean, it really stood out on his scorecard. And it gave Goldenboy the draw they needed.
No one scored that round for Canelo, no media peeps, HBO pundits, no one at all. Even Byrd scored it for GGG!
The NBA had a ref who was changing the outcome of games with his calls because he was betting on games. Nobody suspected him of being corrupt. Everybody suspected Joey Crawford as being corrupt because his calls were blatantly bad. Look on any list of horrible NBA refs and you'll see Joey Crawford but won't see Tim Donaghy, the one who was actually corrupt. The corrupt ones don't make it obvious
I know about that case and it doesn't change anything. You're using a very basic and erroneous form of reasoning. Byrd is fixed.
Even MMA hates her work.

What if they're corrupt and stupid? She is a woman trying to judge a man's sport after all.
His card is a better case for corruption than Byrd's. Byrd card shows incompetence, not corruption.
Good point!
If Byrd was corrupt, you would think she would try to be a little less obvious.

Byrd has been consistently corrupt for years an years.
