On the back foot all night, wouldn't stand and exchange like he said he would
Ducked GGG for years then had to pay off a judge in order to secure a draw, Oscar and HBO are pathetic. Canelo is their last hope and tecate keeps GBP alive
Oscar needed the rematch to fund his drug habit and fishnet tranny fetish
GGG is the real winner and the boxing world knows this
No, but he has a conservative mindset and can get put into a shell when he's getting hit. Doesn't have the crazy "do or die" mindset of someone like a prime morales or saad.

He got put into a shell because of GGG's jab and heavy hands, and also his own stamina issues meant he had to conserve his pace. I am not surprised at all. Lil Floyd was backing him up with right hands and making him tenative. So not shocking at all that GGG would make Canelo tenative.
love how forum warriors call fighters cowards ,thats just hilarious ,love to GGG is blindingmake sure to call out all the keyboard warriors who call ggg a coward as well you hypocrite.
What are you talking about? He invited GGG to the ropes all night, lol.
People are acting like Canelo didn't land clean punches.
Canelo landed all the eye catching shots, except that hard right hand GGG landed on the ropes
Lol@invited, he was trying to catch his breath because he was struggling to live with the pace GGG was setting. Last round he tried to exchanged with GGG, got caught with a shot that visibly hurt him and then went back to running
Ive been saying it forever. Canelo does not fight like a mexican warrior. He doesnt doesnt do it, not that its bad or anything. Hes just not that type of fighter hes a defensive boxer. GGG fights like a mexican warrior thats why the crowd was chanting his name and bood canelo at the end.
He boxes like a little girl

lost all respect for nelo!! and that little punk ass stunt that he tries to pull hitting ggg when they were tied up LOL! that's how you know he's losing the fight. that was so out of character for him.
He's a coward mate, plain and simple
Now we all know why she ran from her daddy for the past 2 years. Ran like crazy outside of the ring and ran like a lil biatch inside the ring.
Such a salty little cuunt arent you?
I agree with the bold parts. I don't thing GGG was landing clean when he was pressuring but he won rds simply by pressure and throwing punches even if they were missing.
He should absolutely not be given credit for walking forward and getting pummeled.
He got his ass whooped from pillar to post for 90% of the fight.
Naw he is not but I get why you say that and you're not wrong at all because when others fight like that Canelo fans would call those fighters "Runners and Cowards" however that was the right strategy to deal with a Big Puncher. Then his Promoter love to sh1t on Mayweather style and call that boring but then look what happened, his guy used that same strategy (which again was the right Strategy). That is why Oscar needs to STFU sometimes!
Canelo style is NOT your traditional "Mexican Style" it never has been and never will be. He is a Boxer/Puncher/Counter Puncher, when has he not fought that way? Sure he will give you exchanges but then he will also reset and get back to his boxing!
HBO commentary was a bit disappointing yesterday; no uproar over 118-110, just happy to have a rematch. It was a good fight, sure, but gain a perspective why don't you - they didn't at all consider how bitter this is for Golovkin; having waited 2 years, at age 35 he earns a huge win and doesn't get it. Golovkin won, I don't care how hard Max Kellerman tried to find and explain mastery of Canelo laying on the ropes and moving around.
Good fight tho, Canelo just backed up way too much. Round 4 onwards it was pretty much all GGG.
