Something I'm not understanding is why people think GGG is going to knock Canelo out...as if Canelo all of a sudden isn't a boxer.
Do people forget or something? This man can BOX. He BOXES. He has REAL skills. He has speed. Throws combinations with pop on them...he can be elusive. He's physically VERY strong too. Look at the man, he's a tank.
The only way GGG can knock him out is if he tries to trade with him punch for punch...and I doubt Canelo is that dumb. I get the sense he has a very high boxing IQ and won't risk that dumb sh*t.
People are way too caught up in the GGG hype and tomorrow they will see, once he steps up to Jacobs/Canelo/Charlo level, he's not knocking these guys out.
So...Canelo can't box then? Lol.
I'm joking but it was a good fight I had Canelo winning on my scorecard 7-5 due to the landing the more effective cleaner shots throughout the fight and rounds (even some rounds where he was outlanded overall)
I honestly think the correct scorecard is 6-6 114-114 draw because Golovkin really did jab an amazing job with his jab tonight. Literally the only reason he won any rounds at all and it carried him throughout the fight. It was that great.
I can't wait for the rematch.
The diva doesn't have mobility. GGG will pressure the diva all around the ring but the diva won't be able to dance away...maybe shuffle a little to the side.
Two of the main advantages of youth are speed and stamina. But Canelo doesn't really have those. I think his lack of stamina is going to be one of the deciding factors in this fight.

if golovkin boxes tonight, he wins. the jab will control canelo.
if golovkin comes to destroy tonight, he will get stopped by canelo
it's all about the gameplan tonight brother.
Styles make fights and Jacobs had the style to give G a competitive fight. I predicted that G would KO Jacobs because of his chin. I also said it would be more impressive if G won a decision. He ended up outboxing Jacobs. I expect him to outbox Canelo if he has to. The guy had around 350 amature fights and won titles as an amature. He didn't KO 350 guys he outpointed them. Now people are saying he can't outbox Canelo. Get real. G is being severely underrated as a boxer. It doesn't matter I've got Golovkin by KO but he is capable of winning a decision.
I'm actually not even saying Canelo or GGG wins or loses, I just feel as though people on here are turning a blind eye to Canelo as if he's just another regular guy Golovkin is fighting.
If Golovkin struggled with Jacobs, expect him to struggle with Canelo. Could Golovkin knock him out? Yes.
Can he get knocked out himself aswell? Yes.
When two evenly matched fighters are facing each other all you can expect is a great fight no matter what the end result is.
Just don't sit there and say GGG is going to run through Canelo you are a f*cking moron if you actually think this lol.
I don't think it has anything to do with GGG hype. The GGG fan brigade do everything they can to make upcoming opponents seem like less of a threat and when GGG wins they tout them as a formidable opponent. They did this exact thing with Brook and with Jacobs and are now doing with Canelo.
It's like a junior high mentality. Only the trolls or idiots use it
Funny thing is there's an equal number of folk saying Canelo's gonna box the snot outta Golovkin (or even knock him the fuck out) because he's an abject hypejob - whilst simultaneously claiming it'll be a great win. Go figure. I guess stupidity isn't just confined to the GGG fan brigade - whoever they are.
