What was something he did that shocked you, something that made you go “wow” during the sparring? Everyone knows about the power, but what was something else that caught your attention? “G can actually box man. He has a gift. The guy can really box. And his jab is amazing. Very hard jab. Overall he’s a very technical fighter. I knew he had power, but what a lot of people don’t know about him is how skilled he is. I mean the guy had over 300 fights and has a couple of Gold medals. I'd take their opinion over his. They aren't getting paid to spar and wanting more work in the future, it's in this guys interest to say nice things about the people that hire him. That's funny, wale omotoso in an interview didn't hesitate to say ggg will win and he's a regular sparring partner for canelo, he didn't have any issue being honest

A 5-0 fighter that has only beat fighters with losing records is a great source. All those amazing fighters he's fought to compare Golovkin to. Yeah, guess we should listen to forum members here instead...

Im being serious here though, tbh dont see Gassiev backing down, though he probably does live in the woods http://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2017/09/12/gennady-golovkin-ran-bear-bear-backed/ :lol1: The article is taking a dig a Golovkin but I think I have seen the video where Abel explains that a bear came in front of his car which was tailing Golovkin & other fighters on their usual run.. Max & Abel were supposedly inside the car & the fighters who were running were like 100m away.. The bear walked off without even glancing at them.. Gassiev & GGG spar regularly, it is a known fact.. Gassiev is a CW too so I'm assuming their sparring is more tactical than a brawl..
