Path of least resistance for the Gift. The guy hasn't been going after the jugular. There's the Khan rematch which is more lucrative. And Khan had called him out a thousand times. It's not like Khan is dangerous considering he's been off for years now. I doubt The Gift will be gifted with $1 mil for this Rios fight. PBC is broke. Showtime is focused on circus fights.

Rios is a great comeback opponent for Garcia. A good fan base, a name known among fight fans and also beatable on a good night.
