The shine and trendiness of the UFC has really started to wear off and this year for boxing has been a renaissance beyone belief that has dominated the UFC with ppv numbers and viewership. The superfly card tonight was awesome with high level exciting fights and a good broadcast and we have probably the best fight of the decade next week on HBO and all i hear is *****ing and negative comments from so called boxing fans.
Roy,Max,Jim and Andre are FAR better than Mauro and Bernstein (paulie is good)
And by the way i dont blame HBO for having an arrogant attitude because so many fighters they had on their network first and had their primes on HBO only to think the grass is greener at showtime where they jump ship and immediately take losses and their career goes down hill such as:
TYSON
BRONER
COTTO
CANELO
I think showtime put good fights on but just face facts that HBO is still the mecca of boxing
I agree, personally I prefer the HBO telecast to Showtime. Seems to be a higher quality. While i agree there may be a little bias, it's not egregious. I agree with most of what lamply and kellerman say, and of course Roy. The Showtime telecast is just as bias too in that sense so they're not perfect. It's a shame that HBO has so few fights now
Lampley is good in a way. But he can be very biased in his calling of a fight, usually because he has a preconcieved idea of how a fight is gonna go. Better than Mauro.
Max and Al is about even. Both below average.
Paulie is better than Roy. But they're both very good.
