I'm not saying he isn't a quality operator. Too much, too soon. Unless he's Gervonta special he's getting stopped IMO. We're talking about Charlo here, no 21 year old should be in the ring with him at this stage of his career. McCallum vs Collins & Floyd vs Canelo show you babies can compete per say but they still end up getting schooled.
Gervonta is special? He looked like sh*t his last fight against a bum
This is gonna be a dope fight. I really don't like the Charlo bro's, I think they're both overconfident and they talk about how they don't get the respect they deserve, but I don't see much they've done to deserve it. Great fighters nonetheless, so don't get my words twisted. I like Lubin though and I'm siding with him. Could go either way though.
To me it's total mismatch. Charlo is going to knock Lubin out cold. A 21 year old beating Charlo LOL.Just proves my point lol. We'll see, I think it's a good fight don't miss it :)
Another reason I kind of wanted to shed light on this is to emphasize the fact this is is a GREAT fight/matchup. I feel like that's kind of being swept under the rug here as well and I don't really get why.
Fans ask for these kind of matchups and then they get them and don't really appreciate them. Maybe since it's a pbc/haymon fight and I know there is a cult of people on here who have something against them can be part of the reason but all I'm really trying to say is look out for this fight and don't sleep on it.
In my humble opinion, although everyone on here seems to disagree with me.
Just want to know what people think of this fight.
I've only seen his last two fights. Didn't make a big impression but then again, neither has charlo.
I like lubin and I'm rooting for him because I don't like this charlo ----But lubin hasn't shown me that he can hang and bang with a charlo level
I think it ganna be Jrock vs charlo all over again
In my humble opinion, although everyone on here seems to disagree with me.
Just want to know what people think of this fight.
I got Lubin throughly outboxing Charlo to a 10-2 decision.
Lubin looks like a special fighter to me while Charlo has proven he's not a special fighter.
I would hav liked to see Lubin fight a few more crafty veterans but beggars can't be choosers.
What I feel about Lubin that makes me lean his way is that I believe he actually has more in his arsenal than Charlo. I think that he is all around more well rounded and a better overall fighter.
Lubin strikes me as a guy (from what I've seen) who hasn't shown all of his abilities yet, and it will take a fighter of Charlo's caliber to bring them out and show people what he REALLY has in store. I feel like he has more to offer than what most people think, and he will surprise everyone including Charlo on fight night.
On the other hand Charlo does have experience, length, and more man-strength on his side. Lubin is also very very young and some would say a bit green. But I still think Lubin will beat him.
Lubin has the reach but Charlo has the Man strength. Pretty good fight but I'm leaning towards Charlo. A 27yo man will have more firepower than a 21yo.
Lubin has a good chance but it depends on Charlo honestly he can be outboxed (thats been proven)but i think if Charlo fully go all out he can win. I think in some fights it takes him to much time to find his rhythm with tricky opponents.
If you disregard the people saying its a mismatch, which it clearly isnt, seems the rest are split 50/50, which it is. Im siding with Lubin for the record
