Seems GGG could have kept better care of his body. I have tracked the 30 days weigh-in weight for his last 5 fights and in all of them he was below 165.
Add to this GGG looks soft in midsection. Are we looking at an upset? #Canelowinner
That's what Jacobs said, now if golovkin claimed something, you'd take it as gospel huh?
If his trainer said something different I would ask who has more to gain from lying.

You wouldnt. You'd be saying "just coz he's said something I've got to take it as gospel". Haha.
Oh please, 174 my ass. His nutrionist gave conflicting statements regarding his weight and what they expect him to be at on fight night (180).
You're telling me Jacobs lost 2lb between the morning of the fight and the actual fight time? Step into the realm of reality, I wouldn't be suprised if he put on 4lb or more since 8am.
He came in heavy deliberately. Admitting that would not benefit him whatsoever, just prove he needed every advantage he could get to compete with Golovkin.

I'm repeating whay Danny said...he would know what his weight was, and why come out with it now? Instead when everyone was making claims. I'm tired of people "saying" things they have no idea about on here.
Keep looking for reasons that Canelo will win but he is still the betting underdog. Go put a big bet on Canelo if you believe GGG will be in poor condition for the most important fight of his career.
Jacobs was 174
There's a reason he passed on the ibf 2nd day weigh in. If he was actually 174 in the ring he would have had no problem making 170 in the morning.

“I predict Danny will be between 178-180 when he steps into the ring.*He was at 176 at 8 a.m.*this morning. Don’t be surprised if Danny does very well this evening. He had a tremendous training camp on the west coast.

He probably wants to be heavier so he can wear Canelo down.
He came in light against Jacobs because he probably thought he would have to chase him. Jacobs came in heavy to impose his will and wear him down.

Didn't at least one of the judges have it 9 to 3 for Canelo against Cotto? Not sure but I seem to recall wide scorecards.
If there's one thing I've come not to trust in boxing is scorecards when it comes to Canelo. I'm not taking anything away from him as a fighter but he's more often than not been involved in some questionable judging.
He hasn't had a 9-3 type fight against anybody else worth mentioning but somehow against Golovkin he is? Ok...

It's not an upset because he is fighting a legit guy in canelo but as a huge ggg fan I have to say I'm worried

At least I read one good post on NSB today.

It's the combination punching that will excite the crowd and probably sway the judges. I think that it will take Golovkin a little while to find his rhythm and it depends entirely on his jab. I am sure that GGG will have his moments, I just don't think he will be able to stop Canelo and that is his most realistic chance of winning. I would like to see GGG finally get a marquee name on his resume, but I just don't see it happening. We shall see. Peace.
Who's the biggest puncher Canelo has faced? When was the last time he took a clean shot by someone his own size?
Edit:I think Angulo was the biggest puncher but I don't recall him doing much that night.
I don't doubt that Golovkin has the power advantage but I just think that his combinations are going to be more pleasing to the judges. I would love to see a Golovkin KO but I just can't see it happening. Either way, we shall see in 2 weeks. Can't wait!
If that is his strategy then he is in for a big disappointment. No way he ko's Canelo. This will be a dominant performance by Canelo. Something in the 9 rounds to 3 range.

Probably part of his strategy. He's probably thinking of coming in heavy for a short night with Canelo. He is probably thinking of being as big and strong as possible to KO Canelo before round 6.
