Soo fight freaks are hard to come by. My question is, how many true boxing fans are you friends with and usually get together to watch boxing? I got like 2 legit fight fans I'm close with, and I ll have 1 or 2 casuals if needed for ppv price tags lol.
lol yeah he boxes full time, he's also got a local store that sells boxing equipment and Protein etc and him and trainer Billy Nelson co-own a gym locally as well. He would never share his *****es, he's an ugly ****er so any *****es he gets he'll hang on to for dear life lol!
Lmfaaaaaaaoooooooooooo!!!!
Is he ugly because he gets hit in the face for a living, or because he was beaten with an ugly stick when he was born?
Got some Friends interested in boxing because they wanted to try boxing out and I teached them the basics.
One guy became a hard-core and also watches Roman Gonzalez and other rather obscure fighters. The others are casuals who ask me about the next Mayweather Pacquiao golovkin canelo fight.
Have some guys I can chat with from my time when I did competitions and i met a mildly successful amateur boxer when I was in the Philippines, but he is fed up with the corruption of the sport lol.
Nice, def the place to meet fight friends are in the gym and at shows.
I just saw he has a wikipedia page. Is he well known enough locally that he can box full time? Does he have sponsors? Does he share his b*tches?

None really, but my uncle and grandfather were boxing trainers and my dad was a boxing enthusiast but no longer with us. I have some cousins into it too, mostly because of family association to the sport but mostly they only watch the bigger fights. I can't see them being awake at 5am watching a card from USA unless it has a big name.
Outside of my family, i don't really have any friends that are into boxing. Some of them will watch the big events but i often prefer to watch alone. I don't mind watching with my girlfriend though, even though she knows nothing.
thats pretty cool u have some boxing roots. I got into the sport through my uncle who would always have the big fight parties at his house for camacho trinidad and tyson. Then i got really into it myself in the early 2000s during my high school years. i forget in europe you guys gotta get up early for our fights lol, thats dedication.
I have only 1 hardcore boxing friend and believe it or not he's a pro boxer.........David Brophy SMW Commonwealth Champ, due to fight Rocky Fielding for the British & Commonwealth titles on 30th Sept on a matchroom show. I have 1 or 2 other mates that come and watch shows with me and come over for fights on t.v but they are casuals. Sometimes they pretend they know they're **** but are quickly found out lol! Most of my good mates prefer UFC or are hardcore football fans

This right here is the truth. I have a lot of boxing friends since I started going to local shows. Have to get out of the house and put yourself where boxing fans congregate.
Another thing. Check your state athletic commission webpage to see the schedule of upcoming fights in your state.
Nobody watches or practices boxing in my city.
There are like 2 active pro boxers from here, so the only people who are passionate about the sport are their families and close friends. There's no way I'm searching for/stalking those people, finding them, then being all "Yo... mind if I hang with y'all? Maybe fvck some of these b*tches while I'm at it?" Lol.
MMA is MUCH bigger. EFC Africa often comes here, and completely fills one of the biggest convention centers in the country. Boxing? We don't even have a boxing hall.

lol its funny how as boxing fans, its common to find someone talking more than they know and revealing that they dksab(don't know **** about boxin!") lol but its all good.
You'll have fun. These guys are out there fighting their ass off for that lil bit of pocket change. And the atmosphere is great. And the women always come out. I don't know what it is about boxing and women but every show i've been to have had a lot of sexy women there
Yea I should have checked the schedule sooner. Ive been to a local show before a few towns over to see my buddies amateur debut. had ringside seats, byob, was a blast. They would have a show once in a while in my town at the baker ballroom but i missed them. cool old school spot, actually the final scene of the movie The Wrestler with micky rourke was filmed there. I missed that too lol.

Hey thats great advice, i pulled up the jersey schedule, def will try to make it to one of the boxing shows.
Dont really have friends who are watching boxings. Maybe couple of very casuals, they know bigger MMA and Boxing fighters, but not so much of the others, nor do they really watch fights live either
When I practiced MMA it was fun to talk about MMA, kickboxing and boxing with the fellow trainers or coaches. But now I mostly talk online...
Nice, i did a little training at a local boxing club and i did enjoy talking fights with the coaches. I'm going to rejoin a club very soon, primarily just to be more involved in the sport and to change my training routine a little.
None, really. I do live in the middle of nowhere in ND, so nobody around here, really. I do Watch Boxing with my wife, so that's something. :)
At least wifey joins you, shes a keeper.
I'm quite lucky- here in Japan I know a Canadian and an American who are both really into boxing, and we always talk about upcoming fights and stuff.
The funny thing is, I only found out that they were into boxing after I started to get into it about 2 years ago.
It'd be great if we could all watch the next big match together, Alvarez vs Golovkin
That's a good find right there. Similar story, I was strength training at a gym and ran into a guy I sort of knew in high school, and we started chatting a little and I found out hes a hardcore fight freak as i am, and our friendship grew from there. Now its 3 total including me lol.
You know, these "friends" don't give a shiet about boxing unless Mayweather gets in the ring. Then they crawl out from whatever cyst covered fleshy growth they reside in and start talking shiet.
Nobody says a thing about GGG-Jacobs, Canelo-WaferChin, Cotto-Kamegai, Ward-Kov x2, etc.
If Mayweather were to get in the ring with fvcking current Ricky Hatton, they would slide out and start saying Ricky would win.
Hell, even Jeff Horn.
Lol aint that the truth
