Thoughts?
Being an honest commentator?
Max Kellerman, here's the actual quote:
- "Conor McGregor, as most great fighters have, has an extremely high fighting-IQ. It's the reason he didn't really hit Mayweather with anything hard. He didn't load up on any punches...
Because Conor is smart enough to know, 'if I try to load-up on something, I'm not going to hit Floyd'... so he quick-punched him. He used his speed and hit him with arm-punches..."
Which is what I thought, and what Joe Rogan said too. ;)

Face it. Connor couldn't knock a glass of water off the edge of a table with a running start.
He had enough pop to keep Floyd turning his back and bending over to get away
Why would any Boxer want to go be a slave for the UFC? No one cares about MMA outside of ufc. Badou Jack and Gervonta Davis made more money than 80% of the ufc roster this year.
If Errol Spence did face Conor in the Octagon Conor would get his jaw broke.
It'll be just like 50year old Ray Mercer knocked out Tim Sylvia on 6days notice

Nobody needed a reminder of what an absolute dimwit you are. Stfu
Nope...absolutely not...I don't believe this for a second. Conor said after the fight himself on ESPN, that he hit him with everything and was shocked Floyd was still there...
THE DIFFERENCE...is that Conor doesn't know how to punch like a boxer, so what translates to KO power in the octagon, is Malignaggi level power in the boxing ring
I don't understand how this is even a debate.
Conor loaded up on maybe 2 or 3 punches that entire fight and spent the rest of the time pitty-patting trying to find defensive holes. Then exhausted himself.
What fight did you guys see where you disagree with the observations of Rogan and Kellerman?
Di a lot of you not even watch the fight and are just going by Conor's reputation as a power puncher? He is new to boxing and was obviously very hesitant in that aspect.
Man, connor CANT PUNCH. You could see him watching at his balance when he was training, and it was 100% confirmed in the fight.
That guy CANT, not "doesnt want to", no, "CANT" punch. If you cant realize that, then boxing is not your sport, because you dont know even the most basic mechanics involved in it.
That sh it makes no fuçking sense to me. Conor wasn't trying to win? Did he think hed out point Floyd? Or get a lucky arm punch?
Couldnt help but ROFL.
It was a poor gameplan. But that's different than saying Conor didn't try to win. So we're clear.
I think he was trying to win and I don't think he was purposely taking anything off of his punches. That was my point for the sarcastic answer. McGregor does not punch hard as a boxer. Paulie said it before the fight, professional boxers said this after watching his workouts(including Shane Mosley and Jessie Vargas) and it showed in the fight. That was as hard as he can punch in boxing. It is what it is.
Could the great black hope boxer with zero mma fights come in and beat Conor in mma? Lets put a name to him, Errol Spence. Since you want to put race as an identifier.

Your great white hype lost get over it. He just doesn't hit hard. Mayweather was smaller but the stronger man.
Get over it?
Brah, I'm still reveling in it.
I mostly just wanted to actually SEE IT HAPPEN, no mater what the outcome. It was a Win-Win all around from the beginning.
Floyd was the stronger man, that was a bit of surprise. One of my fears going into the fight was that Conor would rely on "being the bigger, stronger man" notion. And he couldn't body Floyd around like I thought he might.

And everyone is to totally overlooking the fact that Conor hurt Floyd bad with a legal body shot in rd 9. The ref took Floyds low blow acting job hook line and sinker and stopped the action to warn Conor again. I've never seen Floyd hurt to the body before. That says something.

*Actually this^ might not be the same punch you're talking about. I thought that one was in the middle of the ring, not near the ropes.
Ward-Kovalev belt-line

Didn't use it... is different than... Doesn't have it.
And it's Floyd f*cken Mayweather, he's been stunned maybe 3 times, ever... if that.

Dude was paid to patty punch. That's why Flroid was able to "give the fans the fight they deserved". He knew McNugget wasn't going to try to hurt him. Money talks
I did read it and my response is the same. Yes, context does matter even if you get a response that you don't like.

Read the actual quote in the OP.
The thread title is a bit of a joke response to another thread.

LOL That's exactly what came to my mind.
