Yet Mayweather couldn't hurt Maidana like Khan did. Khan dropped him and hurt him bad with a body shot. Maidana was lucky that the bell rang just seconds after he got up. He was looking like a wounded calf in there. He was about to get KO'd....and that's from lame @ss Khan. Maidana was way overrated. He was good but he was very crude.
Mayweather retired maidana those were two brutal wars, besides maidana mastered the art of fouling when hurt, knees, tackles, nut shots, faking low blows....two completely different chinos...Khan ain't shyt breh chill with the troll he has algieri issues
Floyd didn't want to go out on his shield so we should respect Floyd's decision to not fight these guys.
He's retired so no need to ask Floyd to fight GGG as well
Floyd himself doesn't think he can beat Thurman. He didn't even think this years ago when he was in tip top shape fighting Pacquiao. Spence is basically popular because of Floyd mentioning him for Thurman. Floyd loses to all three now.
Did you see this stuff in your tea cup lol.
Floyd is done his heart is not in it after 21 yrs of beating everyone, prime Floyd schools all of them but that's long gone now, he is probably not 60% of his best the young guns take him right now, he ruled world boxing and holds 5 of the last 10 PPV records which is amazing.

I think Thurman would beat both Spence and Crawford at this stage. Spence gets hit way too easily and we've yet to see how Crawford handles a good welterweight.
The same could be said for thurman. I dont think he is that great, just that he happens to be one of the top welters in a weak era. Crawford is the best of the three, he has some good things with his power, angles and ability to switch hit, he is pretty slow though for an A level guy. Today that wont matter but in other eras that would hurt him.
2015 floyd beats all those guys.
2017 floyd looked sloppy as fook but he was training for conor and stopped sparring a month out. I imagine if floyd was facing a boxer instead he would have a longer training camp and have better speed and timing than we saw.
No i think all 3 of them beat him now. If he wins one of them it would be against Thurman, I think Spence stops him late, i think Crawford outbox him. And Thurman UD him
I swear Thurman is underrated

That was caveman dummy maidana who in spite of his outstanding record then didn't seem to care about winning or losing, just inflicting pain whether legally or illegally, habitual line stepper, yet he still had Khan scuffling like a baby deer around the ring turning his back and running, should have been at least two 10-8 rounds, no man can claim a victory in the ring when you turn your back and run

At this point, I have no doubt he'd devise a great game plan but would struggle to execute. Thurman he'd fare better against but I'd say he'd come short. Spence and Crawford would beat him up and I think because of the styles Shawn Porter would be hell at this point.
It's like when Sugar Ray lost to Terry Norris. It shouldn't be a surprise that a previously great old guy who's retired loses to a much younger in prime stud.
Probably not. He looked a lot slower in his fight against Conor. He's 40 years old, competing with the young guns probably isn't in his best interest at this point
That's correct.
But when Mayweather scraped by past prime fighters they consider him a god. If people give Floyd credit for beating Maidana then Khan deserves even more credit for beating a prime Maidana in a weight class that Maidana looked good in.
