Floyd was completely shot and lost his legs. If he fought spence or thurman or any top 147 lber, it would have been a brutal ko. Imagine conor against charlo, andrade, or lara at 154. Just lol. Mma casuals think he lost to the the best boxer at 147 last night.
Wrong again.
I've said numerous times on here today that Floyd did NOT look good in there. He looked old and faded, but still put a beating on a 2 division champion combat athlete. Guy, don't let your Floyd hate make a fool of you.
Now, do you want to give me more opportunities to clown you or are you done for today?what beating did he put on conor..conor was fine up to the 9 and on the 10th ran out of gas only reason they stopped the fight it took floyd 10 rounds to do something meaningful
To a guy with zero boxing experience...i dont hate on floyd
But come on it took 10 rounds to do something meaningful only to have the ref stop it cause he failed to knock conor out like he said he would...
ummmmmmmmmmm ok??? Floyd told the world he wasnt the same before the fight
It really showed though Larry. He would lose to Thurman maybe even chinny khan. For an inexperienced Connor to get in those shots and have Floyd looking the way he did. Props to Floyd for pulling it out and sailing off
Exactly. it gives the MMA guys a moral victory. They all think Conor got rounds against TBE. If that was Spence, Thurman, Canelo, GGG, Crawford, Cotto etc. in there it would have been a brutal KO. Conor is going to box again. So we will see then as long as it's not Paulie.
Conor embarrassed himself...he slapped, punched like a girl, got chased around the ring, beat the fvck up and then ktfo...that's a moral victory? Floyd didn't take a backward step, just like he said, that's all mctapout did.
Dana sweet tits said he didn't think he would box again btw, but idk for sure. The aging Mayweather however guaranteed himself no less that 250 million last night.
Floyd didn't look like TBE. He made Connor look betterbthan he was. The difference camnbe down to Floyd's legendary conditioning. Works hard in gym so easy fight night.
Connor lost to one of the best of era. But brook, Spence and Thurman would have beat Floyd last night. But that's ok . Floyd only fights people when he thinks he can beat em.
Floyd beats any of the 3 you mentioned 2 years ago...at 40...or is it 41 now? and out of the ring for 2 years no. However, let's see when they are his age where they are. Guaranteed all of them take more losses...brook already has 2.

These fools don't get it.
That's the whole point!!!
Floyd is old, washed up, retired, and pretty much the worst version of Floyd that has ever been seen walked down and battered and stopped MMA's best fighter in his prime with a 20 lb weight advantage.
That's the point, that's how wide the gap is between them.
I wouldn't pick Floyd to beat any of the top WW's today.
and there are bigger fools as yourself to think floyd did an astounding job on a guy who never boxed before in his life...
Wrong again.

Conor did extremely well and better than most people thought he could. The debating here is pretty pathetic actually. There's a reason the fight was viewed as a mismatch from the moment it was signed , for a guy who never boxed professionally to learn the sport in a few months and go a hard 12 rounds is almost impossible. The surprising thing was how well Conor looked early and how uncomfortable Floyd looked. And Conor's biggest enemy was essentially his endurance it wasn't necessarily a skill gap even though there's a big skill gap. Floyd walking down a guy who is dead tired is not really an impressive feat at that point , the outcome was inevitable as soon as Conor looked visibly tired which was around the 5/6th round
lol, this "only lost because he got tired" excuse is so childish. You don't, by chance, think he got tired because Floyd was working the body and snapping his head back repeatedly? People act like stamina is some random factor that victimises fighters. No, it represents the quality of the fighter as well as the punishment he's talking.
Connor took an ass beating and all the fouling in the world didn't save him here. There are fools who think he had a chance and even bigger fools who think he looked good last night.and there are bigger fools as yourself to think floyd did an astounding job on a guy who never boxed before in his life...
It was a Money Grab strictly about THE MONEY! McGregor Personality got him that fight! Maybe other fighters should really take note. If it was another boxer generating like McGregor was with the UFC then yeah maybe he would've came back for a boxer and not a UFC Figher :dunno:
Floyd wasn't missing a lot. Landed 53% of his punches. Very accurate at the end, when he walked Conor down.
floyd's accuracy at the end was good because conor was out and was just a punching bag.
Both fighters did this for obvious financial reasons. Floyd was missing a lot and got countered in the beginning of the fight. Conor doesn't have cardio and floyd exploited that like any top fighter would. Floyd himself already addressed his age and he definitely looked his age last night. End of story!

i dont know about getting his ass beat, he looked more tired than hurt if he didnt tire it would have gone the full 12 and no stoppage and the best fighter in the world would have gone the distance with a guy with zero boxing experience and people would have brought up that floyd was old and shot as an excuse

Ali wasn't 'TBE' but he is the greatest, it's different
I agree. Muhammed Ali is the greatest NAME in boxing. That name was immortalized by not only the things he did inside the ring, but also outside the ring. Lots of politics were involved in that. Ali also was a great character. That contributed greatly to his acclaim as well.

Except that nobody but the casuals believe he's anywhere near the best in the world at this point. TBE is an illusion anyway. It's Floyd fans and nut lickers who created that belief and because he never got an 0 on his record it makes some fools believe it's the truth. No fighter is the best ever...Ali wasn't the best either. Pacquaio wasn't the best. These are foolish claims.
