Just saw the man on CNBC selling the event, and doing a good job with it.
No idea what the money split between McGregor and the UFC is, but Dana's earning every penny.
In fairness Dana is representing the UFC more than Conor, but if Conor is the in to get on CNBC & other places he rarely goes I'm sure he's got no issues using Conor for that reason. Thats why this is gonna be a win for the UFC regardless if its a win for Conor. The UFC is getting inroads with cats they'd never touch if this fight wasn't off the charts.
Very true.
Love him or hate him, Dana White puts his time in and does his work....he runs circles around most boxing promoters.
He is the top promoter in combat sports and he's more known then everyone but maybe don King and no one good works with king no more.
He wants to make the big fights happen as opposed to someone like Oscar or arum and even Floyd who want them to marinate, and that's the key difference.
Cause the more it makes the more he makes lol. He's def taking a nice chunk of Conor's check. Don't promoters take like 27%? If so I'd guess his cut is more than that
There is no selling ANYTHING, McGregor is knocking Floyd out. People will regret not getting hyped and experiencing this event Sunday morning. THIS IS THE BIGGEST UPSET IN SPORTS HISTORY, historic.
