Why does Ward catch heat for fighting in OAK but crickets when Crawford in Nebraska??

Crawford has the mentality that if he faces an opponent who was the A side and the paper is at their hometown whether or not it is, he would definitely go to that fighter hometown no problem! Ward on the other hand, just imagine if AJ, Pacquiao or Floyd was his size in his division....do you really think Ward would move from LA/Cali or nah? So you're giving Crawford credit for a perceived "mentality" when in actuality they've both done the same things, have mulitiple fights in their hometowns? Ward moved up to 175 and fought prime Kovalev twice in neutral territory Vegas, a guy who was consenus top 5 P4P and better than AJ. Don't think he would have any fears of a Floyd or Pac even if they were same size. Crawford fighting in Nebraska is a huge event that captivates everyone there. Ward can get a decent crowd in Oakland and maybe get a Golden State Warrior to show up which is cool, but it's nothing special. Crawford fighting in Nebraska is special. If you can't see the difference I don't know what to tell you. I have no issues with Crawford fighting in Nebraska. The point I'm making is the hypocrisy when Ward gets blasted for home field advantage of fighting in Oakland and some were even whining about the Abraham fight being in LA and Kovalev in Vegas when the same people don't say chit about home field advantage when Crawford fights in Nebraska. It's special because the only thing else they got is cornfields and college football there, a lot more entertainment choices in the Bay. At least Ward got not just any Warrior, but back-to-back MVP Steph Curry to walk out with him.

It's because Crawford packs the venue and Ward doesn't. You can make a financial case for why it's better for Crawford opponents to fight him in Nebraska vs say Vegas. The same isn't true for Ward, who is well-known among boxing fans but doesn't have the same kind of local following. With that said I agree it's BS that Ward gets criticized for fighting at home and never bought into that logic either.

Crawford is a bigger draw and he goes out there to fight. Ward's style of jab and clinch doesn't attract many people. It's an ugly style.

He drew 9K vs. Smith and 8K vs. Barrera and Brand. It's a lot easier when your only competition in town is the Cornhuskers (amateur) vs. the Raiders, A's, and Warriors (pro). True.......

I don't hate Ward but he bends the rules with his way of fighting and maybe he gets away with it more in Oakland. Crawford is a clean fighter so his only home town advantage would be the crowd in Nebraska cheering him on might influence the judges or Nebraska judges being kind to him because he is the hero. He has defeated everybody he has fought by such a large amount that he has needed no hometown help from the judges.

have you seen wards fights??? ill leave this here... when you can make a 30 minute vid of crawford cheating(it would be longer since it hasnt been updated in years) then you can compare cheater ward who needs hometown to crawford who happens to fight there in order to make the most money. ward doesnt even do that as hes turned down multiple big money fights as proof since he knows cheating does not travel

crawford just unified and stopped the other belt holder in 3 to a massive home crowd. Ward took 4 years off of his career to fight garbage bin men and ups drivers he dragged up from 160 at the Oak Ridge Middle School gymnasium. And they still only filled half the bleachers.

Terrence Crawford is a real fighter that stops people and produces entertaining fights while ward is a dirty, cheating whiney diva. Easy logic
