It's rare because it's usually hard to make the necessary fights...in this case, a relative nobody held 2 belts so there wasn't much getting in the way of making the fight. This was a great achievement by Crawford. Unifying titles in this day and age is such a rarity, that it should be celebrated by all boxing fans. We complain enough about too many champs and belts, but when someone manages to unify all titles and become the man of the division, that's doing exactly what boxing fans are asking for. It's a shame that some continue to hate on the win being non-meaningful, but it's a huge accomplishment and should be a standard all fighters should actively be pursuing. My hats off to Crawford. He put on a great show in front of a great crowd in Nebraska, and put his name in the history books. The sky is the limit for him and I'm really looking forward to that move up to 147.
