I took it as, he's not the type to sit there and admire when he lands a big shot. He doesn't shuffle and dance either. He just looks like a guy that genuinely loves to fight and the fight is what he enjoys. Not to say he won't clown on guys, because he does when guys are being stubborn, but he's just an all around great fighter. He's a fighter's fighter for sure.
The guy moves in a very flashy manner, most definitely throws his hsots so that they look good.
This idiotic op tryin to make it sound like he is some basic warrior with his "throwback" bs, I bet he doesnt even know what that term means in boxing.
He's got that competitive nature that I read about in books covering Michael Jordan. Losing genuinely hurts his soul and he won't, and can't, accept it.
Styles. I think Crawford handles Garcia's counter punching more effectively than Thurmon.
Garcia is bigger plus he has an iron chin. No one s stopping Garcia including Spence or Porter
I though Crawford was somewhat boring in some of his fights and i wasnt too high on him but last night was truly impressive.
What impressed me the most was the fact that he was fighting southpaw against a natural southpaw fighter. Crawford is able to act and react instinctively in a southpaw stance which is very rare in this sport.
he would easily beat thurman who is highly rated for some odd reason. maybe caues he fights on pbc? errol spence vs crawford would be the best fight around.
If Thurman couldn't stop Garcia, what makes you think Crawford canStyles. I think Crawford handles Garcia's counter punching more effectively than Thurmon.
I saw a bit of sweet pea in him, when he raised his leg and sort of hops in and out...I don't know what that move is called, sorry. What does flashy mean in this context anyway? as in showy? Not showy, but plenty of finesse and not a carbon copy template of text book fighters by any stretch, he's unique in his way.
He definitely has the goods. Terrific fighter. Unbeatable at 140. But he may need to make waves at 147 to become a bigger star. e.g. I think he or Spence will be the first to stop Danny Garcia.

Crawford is one of the few young fighters in boxing who is special. No doubt about him and Inoue.
I dont get the same feeling from lomachenko
Inoue??
I don't see what's so special about him. Yet.
Lomachenko is way more impressive than him up to this point.
Why not Horn. That would be a great money maker for Crawford. If the ref can get Jeff to box by the rules Crawford will win easily.
Like you said, Horn is easy work for Crawford.

I'd like to see him move up to 147 and fight Spence or Thurman, not Jeff Horn. He's wasting his prime years at 140. It's a really weak division, it's hard to gauge how good he is fighting there. I mean even Broner looked pretty decent at 140.

I remember that too.
Postol was the next Ukrainian boogey man, especially after he destroyed Lucas Mathysse.
Then Crawford schools him and suddenly he wasn't that good after all.
Where have we seen that happen before?
It's never going to change.
Gamboa is not a small name anyway. And I never rated postol, but I remeber you all riding postol's dick until crawford destroyed him.
