How are you going to look like this much of a scrub being a champion/legend in a sport where dudes are punching as a main component? MMA is a fcuking joke!
Please explain why the speed bag is a finer part of boxing.
It's a staple of bix8ng trian8gn ,mad helps you a **** ton in punching endurance, rhythm, breathing pace, foot movement while punching, the ability to change pace through the course of a round of fighting, etc.
Also helps build speed, and you should use it when your arms are already tired to build up that shoulder and arm stamina. Also, you can always tell which boxers don't put in the time int he speed bag when they have their hands down by the 4th and 5th rounds and on.
It's an invlauable tool for boxing training. And the double end bag, even more so. Works in hoe fluid you throw combos, and the timing. Timing is the most important apsetc of boxing, imo, and without these 2 excersises, you're just not reaching you potentail as far as boxing.
What, you think Floyd does those workouts for show? It's the years and years and years of doing those excersises that's built him that muscle memory of his timing, rhythym, all that stuff you need to be great.
It almost makes no sense that he's that bad on the speed bag, seeing that boxing is a huge component of MMA. WTF.....it's like all he does is hit the mitts and heavy bag. It's criminal that he's never worked on the finer parts of boxing training. But then again, Brazilians have always been prehistoric and bums at boxing. Not a shocker here.
Please explain why the speed bag is a finer part of boxing.
It is whatever I say. You're just some kid on the outside looking in. You should be thankful I'm posting here.why do i get the feeling you are some fat fcuk that wishes you knew how to box and do mma...
MCNULTY'S thread = WHACK
So fcuking what when he started with Garcia. He's a "legend" remember?
Of course MMA fighters get the benefit from using a speed bag. Why wouldn't an MMA fighter want fast reflexes, rhythm, and shoulder strength, especially when keeping arms up for long durations in the guard. Helps block kicks AND punches. Maybe its you that doesn't know what the speed bag is for?
You have to defend against take downs, kicks, knees, elbows and so on. Distance and stance is different. It was clearly you that didn't know. But congrats on making use of the google machine, dip****.
I did MMA in 2006, sh1t is a joke. The best fighters in the house were huffing and puffing in the warm up. I wasn't even breathing hard.
I've had chokes put on me in street fights. I got out and handled biz.
If some clown ever tried throwing a kick on me in the street they would get their dick knocked in the dirt.
I used to give work to an ISKA champ while he was world champ in 2000 and would wreck him. He never gave me any problems. A couple of times he played like he was going to kick and I was out of the crease before he could get his foot off the ground.
Kicking is for tai-bo hoes.
Ok tough guy whatever you say
No wonder You're a salty ole head no one even trained mma back then till Gracie came here, and so was I welcome to the club old guy bet you been blogging the last 20 years getting fat doe :lol1:
boxing is my favorite form of fighting buts it's pure ignorance to say other fight styles like muy Thai and jiu jitsu don't play a factor in a real fight you get put in that chokehold your ass will tap. Ever take some kicks to the shin? Yeah stop looking childish you too old for this.

I used to box in the Am's, undefeated in the novice division. I got plenty of street fights and haven't lost in the streets since the 80's before I boxed.
I've been taken to the ground plenty of times and still bodied fools.
Maybe you don't know sh1t bruh?

Speed bag is there to work your shoulders and instinctively help you keep your hands up for longer fights you stupid ****s. You ever wonder why the newer olympic facilities don't even have them?
Bruh I'm not even a mma fan like that you're insecure af about boxing you Def never been in a real fight in your life if you think boxing is the only thing you will have to use.
And it's two different sports if you don't know about one don't talk about it.

He just started training with Robert Garcia within the past two weeks. MMA really has no use for a speed bag. I bet most of you don't even know what a speed bag is actually training you for. Probably think it helps speed or some dumb ****.
So fcuking what when he started with Garcia. He's a "legend" remember?

There's actually some sparring footage of him vs a PanAmerican champ, and he looks really good in it. Not such a bum after all, but still, his overall boxing game needs major work. He's too much about explosiveness, and not about the finer details, like distance management, and punch variety during certain positions.
Ok, got you. Not to defend the OP or take sides but don't you find it interesting that they got all these styles, which are supposed to be great according to MMA fans, yet you got a former champion MMA guy trying to learn how to box with Robert Garcia.
Doesn't that tell you something, or is it just me? Honest question.
It's because Connor ko'd him silly in 13 seconds and he's a grappler, that's the thing people like about mma it's a mix of all fight styles .
Myth. MMAtards love to say that. It's the same fcuking stance.
