Theoretically, if Conor destroys Floyd... who can challenge him? Too unorthodox??

thats all i asked for now im actually curious to know though, how come you would be so confident in these fighters knowing theyd be fighting a guy who decisively stopped floyd mayweather? Because Floyd would be dead after he suffered a massive heart attack in the ring. It's a shame he didn't have annual checkups, they would have found that heart defect sooner and this could have been prevented. Tragic...

WIN or LOSE, Conor won't go back to the UFC. Boxing is where the money is. He's been trash talking Oscar and Canelo lately. Conor V. Canelo is next !! Mark my words & mark em' well. Forget the GGG rematch regardless of the outcome in September. This makes business sense.

Conor's potential opponents in boxing aren't going to be Diaz size

lets say Conor does come in and shock the world and just walks right through Floyd with his whole new style of boxing (the wide stance MMA karate style stuff) apparently from the pics hes even been utilizing Superman Punches as well in training (faking low kicks, coming with punches instead).. so you know hes gonna come in with some crazy funky sh1t durign the fight So question is, if Conor wins, ... and him having all these weird unorthodox attributes makes for a puzzle that most boxers haven't dealt with at this level, which Boxer would be able to beat McGregor and his style if Floyd is not able to Nate Diaz :) Lomachenko schooling Conor would be great to watch. I'd pick Loma to KO McGregor despite the size difference. 3rd option would be any top 10 ranked welterweight or junior below the age of 40.

The only possible way for him to beat Floyd is some unexpected turn of events during the fight like, I don't know, Floyd getting injured, thunderstrucked, hit by a bus etc....Not his non-existing boxing skills. So logically, after that he should fight a boxer of his level. I'm thinking Rod Salka level fighter who would still be a massive favorite before the fight. After reading predictions from certain fans however, it's clear to me that there's no such thing as logic when it comes to Conor McGregor. So he should fight the winner of Canelo-GGG and get send back (or what's left of him) in a black bodybag to Ireland after the fight.

Boxing has been perfected over centuries. If any of that weird stuff worked some boxer would have stumbled on it and used it by now. An extra wide stance has long been proven not to work. Any boxer with a brain won't fall for a fake kick because he knows kicking isn't allowed. A superman punch is easy to see coming and no good boxer will get hit by one. They seldom land even in the UFC fights. The guy throwing a leaping punch would be off balance and easy to knock down while he is in the air. None of Conor's weird tactics will work. I know you saw the fight in which Diaz was out boxing a hurt and tired Conor so badly that Conor actually turned his back and ran away. This is the guy you think will destroy Mayweather in a boxing ring? You are dreaming about something you badly want to happen that will NOT happen. That's why most of us don't want to bother answer your question. If Conor pulls off a miracle and wins then ask this question. Right now the only people on this board who give Conor any real chance to win are MMA fans like you who come here once in a while.

So if Floyd beats Conor in the Octagon, which MMA fighter can hang with Floyd, hypothetically speaking...? that can't happen because MMA is an expanded form of boxing while Boxing is a limited form of MMA Conor's specialty is his hands... so is Floyds specialty... adding grappling would be meaningless because Floyd isn't testing his grappling skills in another sport that involves grappling. its Conor testing his hands in another sport that involves hands again, im not gonna argue this i just am curious on peoples opinions. i still dont understand why you are actually trying to argue over these factoids that don't pertain to the thread. im guessing this whole fight has you mad. its alright dude, calm down judging on your posts, you probably don't think anyone can beat Conor if he actually does destroy Floyd... seeing as how you constantly are avoiding a simple hypothetical that really.. not surprised though. i dont think many would think they could beat Conor if he destroys floyd

Unorthodox? How did Pacquiao fight? Look at Pac's highlights against Floyd, Conor doesn't have that IQ to simply snap extend a Jab in close range. Ward is another type that gets away with snapping jabs on a pounce. Furthermore, Kovalev is very unorthodox. Ward was able to tame it the second time rather easily. Kovalev attacks sideways being able to lunge a left or a right simultaneously. Again, such upper echelon styles are true unorthodox, not some MMA fighter trying to move like PAC and less fast nor experience with 10oz gloves... so you want to go onto a full debate about whether Conor is unorthodox instead of simply just answering a hypothetical question about who you think could challenge him should he beat Floyd? man some of you are so daft. and yes, Conor is by far more unorthodox than Manny just for the main fact that his style of striking is kickboxing based. the guy is sparring for Floyd and practicing superman punches and sh1t.... do you see Manny faking leg kicks to throw punches in boxing?
