I see a lot of hate for this guy and who he has fought so far. But the truth is this kid has mad skills and is doing it in Jones like fashion. Complain now, but I would bet he cements himself as an all time great by the time he hangs his gloves up. He is wildly entertaining, has crazy skills and good power. After as many pro fights as he's had I can't understand why anyone would hate him. Just my two cents.
that's why I'm a big spence fan.... he proved to me that he has a bright future. To go over and take the belt in someones backyard that's show and prove to me!
im still on the fence with this guy. I had to watch the fight with my good friend who is ukranian. So obviously a fan boy of vasyl's. He tried to make exuses for him I told him very nicely that the jury is still out on this guy. Sorry but he looked blah tonight and those pathetic pitty patt punches and the showboating I'm not convinced this guy can honestly beat a Garcia or a davis when davis gets a couple more fights under his belt.
right now to me more hype still then substance
Who the fuk is this kid?
First I heard Lemonchenko is pound for pound number 1 for beating Gary Russel jr and Rocky Martinez and a inactive Nicholas Walters who packed it in likely cuz he needed to collect his check and pay his bills since hadn't fought for close to two years!
Then I heard growing whispers that turned to obnoxious declarations that Lemonchenko has a better defense than Floyd Mayweather?!!
SMFH, Then it gets worse, idiocy in folks head that spews rants that Lemonchenko would beat a prime Floyd Mayweather at 130!
Now this *****, how are you gonna explain THIS Lemonchenko fans!
HOW! Such total disrespect, when Mikey gets a hold of the Hi Tech Tap Dancer it'll be him tasting the canvass and not taunting!
Same with Tank Davis once he hits his prime!
We'll see what happens. I'm betting on his skills to keep improving. I've been wrong before though. After only 10 pro fights and what he has shown....I'm pretty comfortable leaning his way.
Fair enough, bro. I wish him all the best. I'll watch him again when he fights a live body.
Anyway, patting Marriaga's head was humiliating and classless on the part of Lomachenko. Damn.
Watch Davis too.
He's the one that actually fights like RJJ...and he's not going on 30.
I'm glad Davis has somebody like Loma in his division...somebody highly regarded, to propel him to greatness by whipping.
Oh my go search interview of your new hope)))) he is running from Loma on a chicken legs.
Hes an elite fighter, but needs to get elite opposition now.
Seeing him clown guys who had no chance to win before the fight started gets a bit repetitive. Tbf they have no chsnce of winning because of his quality, so you cant take that away from him.
But he needs a breakout performance vs an elite fighter to really cement his status. IMO he will prove to be clearly the best fighter in the world given the chance to do so. Whether Ward is fighting regularly or not.
Loma punched himself out against that bum.
Did you see him step out in the 7th round with his mouth opened?
I notice sh^t like that.
Davis would have Marriaga in an ambulance.
Honestly, nothing was impressive about tonight's fight. I specially disliked the showboating (uncalled for against such overmatched opponent) and patting Marriaga's head. WTF was that?
I can't envision him trying that with Davis or Mikey and getting KTFO for his effort.
Yeah, Loma has many prime years ahead of him. He's young in pro boxing years. 400 three round fights with head gear and big gloves doesn't damage young fighters like some people believe.
People said the same about golovkin 4 years ago now even his trainer says he's old lol
Just cause you're good at 30 doesn't mean you'll be good at 40
I used to think that when I was a fan of his, but now I see a KO waiting to happen, if he fights a skilled puncher. He fought a C class mismatch tonight and didn't impress much.
I'm sure he'll go nowhere near Garcia. Fight with Davis won't happen because of Arum and Floyd. I don't know about Berchelt and Corrales.

It's not a comparison to Jones, but the value he brings to the sport given his style and dynamics at similar stages of their careers. Watching him, I would bet on Loma accomplishing great things before his career is over.

Mariaga is a very good fighter, as anyone who saw him against Walters and Valdez would know. I actually think he caused Loma a few problems early on.
Loma is an incredible boxers, a game-changer, one of those rare talents who comes about every 10 years.
Exactly!!!!
That's better than staying in the amateurs for 400 fights.
RJJ was a YOUNG Champion....Loma is about to hit 30:bottle:
But the potential is still there. He is on a much faster pace than GGG who has shown great skills, but a lack of quality fights. I firmly believe Loma will accomplish great things. Even after a later start.
Roy Jones was fighting absolute bums in his first 10 fights. Loma's much more impressive and accomplished 10 fights in.
Loma is definitely ahead of the curve. At the same time he is older with a boatload more amateur experience. In my opinion both are phenoms as this phase of their careers. Jones obviously proved he was an ATG. I think Loma will follow along that path with his own entertaining style and skills.
I'm just saying Davis is the one that actually fights like RJJ.
The range Tank has.
Loma doesn't have that...he fights like a small guy with a small guy's range.
With Davis....you can't tell if you're at a safe distance because of his RJJ like ability to put you to SLEEP from across the ring..:boxing:
That's cool. But I'll ask again...what does that have to do with Loma and how he fights and entertains at this particular point in his career with the general comparison to Jones at he same time during his pro tenure?
My bad for assuming you actually knew how Jones career unfolded. Sometimes I forget not everyone was there to see his career from the beginning. Forgive me. :lol1:
I'm just going to assume you're a fvcking retard
