What u say makes sense economically for Wilder but there is no way I can see him accepting to be on AJ's undercard. Maybe a co-feature. It's the ego thing that you were talking about. A co-feature makes it more of a head on collision course. Peace.
This is all that needs to be said.
It would make a lot of sense to build up a big fight for next year.
Most people who watch Joshua fights are basically casual fans and people that don't watch boxing at all so they have no idea who Wilder is. The best thing would be to put him on a Joshua card and sell him to the casual Joshua fan as a big threat to Joshua and the biggest fight to happen in the division, otherwise Wilder is no more well known than Pulev, Ortiz etc. in the eyes of the average Joshua fan, and they're the ones filling the stadiums.
How do you not accept $5M for a bs guy not unlike a bs guy you were already gonna fight for $1M?
Obviously I don't think all that highly of Whyte. Although in fairness I don't think Wilder is all that skilled either & will have some L's to some cats not unlike Whyte by the time he retires so who f#cking knows, but if you are fighting bad &/or unproven, fringe opponents why wouldn't you fight another one for 5x the money you are making?
F#ck any ego sh^t or anti-UK sh^t. It makes sense + it builds up the Joshua vs Wilder fight.

Indeed, I understand pride but this is heavyweights boxing, one right hand on a given night can send you into retirement and Wilder hasn't made this kind of money yet!
This isn't going to happen. Wilder vs Whyte is a PPV headliner itself.. Why would Hearn cut his profit?.
But then again can AJ sell out a 75k stadium fighting Pulev? I'm not so sure.. That's a hard sell and it ain't no PPV that's for sure. So I do expect Hearn to stack the card.. If this happens then it will be a huge card!
Hearn realises he's just lost 20million from Klitschko retiring.. He's lost 30+million from Fury retiring which could have been the biggest UK fight ever. Hearn now need to promote the sh*t out of Wilder to make up for the loss from those potential fights. What better way to promote AJ vs Wilder than put him on the undercard.
Whyte vs Wilder will he an epic lead up either and that fight will make AJ vs Wilder 20x bigger.
