Broner is no legend or even close to it. The titles he received at the lower weight classes was because he used to come in way bigger than the guys he fought and the one time he stepped up in competition at the lower weight classes, he lost but was gifted a decision (Ponce de Leon). Then he lost to Malignaggi but again was gifted a decision for the belt. He was supposed to be the next PPV star but just doesn't have what it takes to complete at the elite level.
He is entertaining for sure and I will be tuning in to his fights, but lately it doesn't seem like he even wants to fight anymore. He used to be flashy and entertaining in the ring, now he is just flat footed and his heart is not in it.
I cannot be hard on Broner. I know he can be delusional. I know he can be over the top. I also all know we will tune in to watch him fight again, because he is entertaining. He is not a great fighter, but who cares? Not everyone can be at the top of the sport.
For me, guys like Broner and Lemieux are the bread and butter of the sport. They are not highest level, but have certain qualities that could upset the apple cart in certain situations.
I think your absolutely wrong
Broner who has he upset?
He'll be a great the stepping stone for pretty good fighters coming up
And I think a Broner vs Lemieux fight would be entertaining until Lemieux rips his head off because he can

Someone tell broner those are the records at the END of their careers. RJJ, Ali, Julio and SRL didnt have 3 losses when they were 29 like Broner
he is calling himself a legend and he puts himself on par with leonard, ali, robinson, roy and chavez lol
Lol.
Broner reminds me of Victor Ortiz. They were obsessed with creating the next star and forgot you need the right material for the job.
Both fighters could have made it to the top but they lack tenacity.

Should have included Pacquiao with 7 losses.
For those who can't see:
Edit: Image still not working, smh...just click the caption and it'll take you to Broner's IG page.
28 years old and I'm a 4 time world champion in 4 weight classes never been stopped and always fight until the last sounding bell I'm a warrior and I promise I will be champion again!!!! I'm already a legend but I got plenty of fight left in the tank .......... now this is just something to look at......... A post shared by AdrienBroner on Aug 2, 2017 at 2:18pm PDT
huh??????????? im lost this reply is weird
You conveniently chose to be a moron on this post.... one on man. Browner won his titles in the lower classes by draining himself and fighting crappy opposition. When it came to fighting legit guys around his weight he got the crap beat out of him. Marcos maidaina at 147 and Miley Garcia at 140.
oxnard > projects
Stop trying to be a moron.
Broner talks too much sh*t, and he's African American, so that's why he's sh*tted on more. He is right he does go all 12 rounds in all of his losses. If he didn't talk so much and was a Hispanic or something else, he'd be one of these okay boxers who aren't great but are still praised.
Can't see it but I was telling my wife to expect the obligatory post-loss gun/suicide posts from Broner this week.
I knew that Bonehead would fall apart...whether that be all at once on on a steady decline, once he lost to Maidana. He was up on that pedestal and had his hype spread all over town while fighting smaller, overmatched opponents. A guy with an ego like that and the cakewalk rise that he had up to that point, can't handle defeat like that. They think they are above it, yet give no credibility to all the favors and strings that were pulled to get them where they were. It's hard to come to terms with the fact that you weren't as good as people told you, you were.
Broner was an actual champ he lost his title in the scale.
Broner never was a real world class level.
Jr fought big fights. And? He is garbage.
Now depends more in your capacity to make lower weights.
Like Broner did in 130 and 135.
