Hall of Fame retired referee Joe Cortez claims he ordered Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi to calm down after a rough sparring session threatened to spiral out of control last week. The legendary official, who has overseen fights involving the likes of Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Oscar De La Hoya, was called in by the McGregor camp to help the Irishman acclimatise to the rules of the sport during his preparations to fight Floyd Mayweather on August 26. um not they dont idiot.... no need to make up lazy lies
OK whatever do you research first ooh but how can't you since youre all over Floyds and conors Nuts
They should have sell tickets according to market value today. May-Pac tickets are overly expensive but the fight sells itself.
If the prices are were 25% more than GGG it would have been sold out in minutes.
Problem was Mayweather and Mcgreggor purses are so high that they need those prices. If the fight only garnered 2 million buys they may get a loss. It needs to have 3M buys.
dont worry about floyd and conor! they are wayyyy more richer than canelo and ggg....
you idiot they have a couple thousand left with a month to go.... Are you stupid? Ggg vs canelo tickets were 75% cheaper than may vs mac also.... Cheap crap always goes faster amigo

Not Many People Are Buying Tickets To See The Mayweather Vs. McGregor Fight So Far
Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor FIGHT OF THE CENTURY would have sold out all of its tickets the day they went on sale. That day was July 24th and well, there are still PLENTY of tickets to be had.

I paid no attention whatsoever what Cortez says he violated the prime rule of any official by criticizing officials on TV while he was still active no one should ever do that ..it's unethical and unprofessional..
He's there to simulate a real boxing match for Mcgregor so the retard doesn't break any rules and not get paid.
Right down to taking points away. Now that's realistic as it gets.
ok since they are open to the public than why arent they sold out if its such a hot fight you idiot

Da **** Joe Cortez talking about. It was a sparring match.

Proof...

These are verbatim quotes from another thread Paulie said in those interviews:
"You Look back on it, it was kind of fun"
"He's got some pop in his left hand"
"He's effective"
"There's a method behind his madness... I'm sure it'll be entertaining and fun"
As far as Conor's gameplan:
"There's holes there"
"Is he going to be effective? I don't know"
"We both landed some shots"
"It was good work"
Conor's Power?:
"He's not a weak puncher"
"He's an above average puncher"
"Is it oh my god power? No."
"Conor doesn't have that kind of power"
If we're talking about a retired Paulie roughing up a prime Mcgregor.
Mcnugget is FOOKED
The fact that you have two individuals hyping this fight up doesn't bother me, it happens pre-fight for every fight no matter if the boxing world feels like it's a mismatch or not, so them spewing noise doesn't really bother me at all.
One thing I will say though, this definitely lets me know that Mayweather vs Pacquiao was 100% important to the boxing industry, and it's fan base. That fight was sold out in a couple of minutes. The ticket prices reached 6 figures alone!
This fight, while in a bigger arena, is not sold out yet, at 1/10 the price of May-Pac and these fools have guarantees combined of probably close to 200 million dollars.
If the way the tickets are selling is any indication on the PPV numbers, there may be some money lost. I get trying to sell the fight as much as possible, but you can't sell it to seasoned boxing fans. Only the casuals are getting suckered into this fight, and while I still think it will sell good as far as PPV goes, I don't see it coming even remotely close to May-Pac. I would venture around 1.5 mil to 2 mil at the most.
that is exactly what I said Thutch
I cannot see how that fight will sell more than Pac/May
I say 2mil - 2.5mil

Watch a couple of the Paulie Malignaggi interviews, that's literally what he said about Mcgregor.
I'd wager Mayweather is silent because he doesn't give a **** and wants to do anything to make this look like less of a mismatch to sell the fight.
The funny part is it's been basically the opposite
"Conor has above average power, not great"
"Conor's gonna need more options than just his power..."
"Paulie AND Conor are roughing each other up"
Proof...
