MOST boxers are groomed to fight fair ,i can tell you ive also seen HW boxers get dropped by leg kicks in dojos ........ You cant categorise certain fighters . If you put Floyd and McGregor alone in a room and anyone who had to bet their life on it had to choose who walks out ,ALOT of posters wouldn't be so gullible all of a sudden bc just on mentality its clear McGregor would pummle him and fast . This doesnt mean boxers cant fight ,its a martial art but martial arts dont fight the person does ! It doesnt matter if your from the streets you still have to know what your doing and have that edge (im not saying you ,i dont know you ) I can tell you a seasoned CREDIBLE trained fighter who knows things beyond basic boxing is better off unless you have physical attributes that would enable you too punch out multiple ppl .....ive been through ALL this in REAL life from pro HW boxers /Bare knuckle champs /Wrestlers /Grapplers /Martial artists .....im not a dummy i have well over 20 years in combat training . I agree in that it's all up to the individual, but some posters write boxers off in a streetfight, which is insane.

Doesn't matter what they can do outside of boxing. The point is the sport of mma is closer related to an actual fight than boxing is. No way around that. I don't care about what boxers choose to learn in their free time. Fair enough...just don't sleep on us. And it's not what we learned in our free time, it's what we already knew before we became boxers.

Imagine if a fighter has the skills to cold clock you right on the chin or body accuratetly, in a street fight all he has to do is change the target to hitting you with a good shot to the balls, kidney or even a rabbit punch. I've got a decent Am's record and an ATG street fighting record. Plenty of cats tried getting me on the ground and all of them got fcuked up. Reason being nobody could touch me is I knew how to box, I knew how to throw punches and got them fools out of there quick. Be first!

What you say is true. MMA has rules too and you can't do certain things that you could do in a street fight. MMA is closer to a street fight though because you are allowed to hold and hit, kick, wrestle, choke and use knees and elbows and all of these tactics are illegal in boxing. Conor is just saying boxing isn't a real fight to get Mayweather pissed off enough to make mistakes. If Mayweather knocks him out he will have a hard time convincing anyone that boxing isn't a real fight. I can remember the name of that mediocre heavyweight boxer who filmed himself winning many street fights over local street fighting champs and he only used legal boxing blows to beat them. Boxing is very effective and real in the ring and on the street.

If you want to watch real fighting go on WorldStar. A real fight between Floyd and Connor would go like this. There would be no publicity Floyd would be allowed to use his body guards because there are no rules and they would form Voltron and stab him. Oh and noone would get paid. Sounds fun right?
