Wilder is 1 inch taller, but Joshua seems to weight 20-25 lbs heavier...
Is it a big deal or not?
'Old man Wlad' at 41 is still a far superior physical specimen than almost everyone else in the division and would still pose a threat to every single heavyweight around now.
Wilder's highlight reel of knocking out bums seems to have instilled this myth that Wilder has ungodly power but there's really nothing (other than the aforementioned highlight reel) to suggest that his power is any greater than Wlad's.
Obviously though Wlad had the power to hurt Joshua, so it's more than likely that Wilder does too.Wilder poses that same threat too to everyone in the division. Myth, UnGodly power? You've been listening to the wrong people. Wilder has true power, but against the very best is when it needs to be shown. That's why he wants Joshua. He saw flaws in the Wlad fight that he might be able to expose.
"I'm just gonna lean on him with all my weight" lol Has weight ever been quantified in a top HW fight to suggest it was the deciding factor? U only hit with ur fists. So why do people talk about weight like it's two people who are going to constantly run into eachother?
Taking old man Wlad's shot isn't taking Wilders right hand. And Joshua's chin is suspect. Whyte had him hurt and he has no skill. Both are equal threats to ko the other. Not enough people seem to realize that.

When you wield as much power as Wilder, size doesn't matter.
You could be eight-foot-eight, five-hundred pounds and he'll chop you down.

Anthony Joshua was pretty much the same weight as Wilder when he turned professional! (I don't really think Deontay Wilder's style and frame will enable him to be functional at 240-245 pounds! He is quite a slender individual, you only have to look at the width of his core! HE IS AT HIS OPTIMAL WEIGHT RIGHT NOW!).
David Haye is 6"3 but in my opinion he more densely built compared to Deontay Wilder! You can see the difference in frame even when Haye was weighing 220 pounds!
Joshua has head movement and has shown time and time that he has the acumen to slip shots (something 'stiff' people struggle with all the time). Beyond that, he took a clean right from Klitschko that has knocked out so many men before him and got back up and won... there's nothing suspect about that. Suspect is getting wobbled by Eric Molina.
That said, Wilder is definitely a true threat to Joshua and one of the few in the division that are.

At the hvw level, if your around 230lbs you can ko any hvw above 230lbs. Size won't matter between Wilder and Joshua. Joshua has no head movement, he's stiff, has a suspect chin and no stamina. He's very lucky that Wlad was 41 years old. Wilder has the equalizer. The right hand and stamina. And if you don't think that Wilder is a true threat to joshua then ask Murat Gassiev. He has sparred with Wilder. He knows how good Wilder is.
I just wished they'd make this fight ASAP!

When heavyweight boxers get to a certain size more weight is not really an advantage. Often the extra weight comes with a lack of speed and agility and less punch resistance. The best heavyweights in history have usually weighed from 190 to 230 pounds with AJ and the K brothers reaching the upper limits of size and weight for the best heavyweights. Look at what 185 pound Dempsey did to 250 pound Willard. Look what 200 pound Louis did to 260 pound Carnera. Giant heavyweights have always been around put they are seldom the best heavyweight. Wilder is a very lean muscular 227 pounds and that is more than heavy enough to fight any heavyweight of any weight. If Wilder loses it would be because he was not good enough, not because he wasn't heavy enough.
I get what you're getting at however, "all things being equal" then the bigger guy usually wins!
So, with a 20-25lb "disadvantage", Wilder needs to be not just "good enough" but BETTER than Joshua to win!!
Follow your own advice weak ass dude:lol1:
Folks this is what happens when you try to be cordial with a special ed. retard.
Continue as you were Kigali with your special retard self. My, my, you are SPECIAL.
Joshua....
Too slow...too tired.
He can't avoid Wilder's bombs
Try being honest, real and objective Kigali.
I know you can do it.
There's a peace inside your soul, let it be your friend. It will help you carry on, in the end!

These are videos of both Joshua's knockouts and Wilder's knockouts.
Now you tell me from watching these videos if Joshua is "slow" compared to Wilder.
Also look at technique, fundamentals, balance, etc...
Compare
It will be even a bigger surprise if you dont win "Most retarded poster "twice in a row for 2018! Kigali is a real pitiful moron. The majority of his posts are racially motivated vitriol. He must have replied to me 50 times in the past year saying the same things about Joe Calzaghe every time.
So you're saying Joshua is fast??
:pat:
Compared to Wilder...he looks like he's fighting underwater.
Lol, oh I already know you're not objective or realistic.
But you do come up with some good jokes now and then and sometimes factual stuff.
But not on Joshua being slow. It's plain to see he's not.
