I have a feeling he's going to say 12 unanswered punches to his head was an early stoppage and he could have continued, that he wasn't knocked down or out and Floyd had no power but ask the fans for credit that he didn't quit.
Even if Conor did try...imagine Floyd doing the pull counter on Conor's kicks.
There's just no way you can't call the man TBE if he did that.
Don't think he would be able to pull counter cuz legs are longer....he could always go under....lol
Maybe he won't make any? He gave Diaz props after their fight.
He's getting a huge payday and he's competing outside his own sport, so i think that will soften the blow for him.
I imagine he will be humble.
"I went to another fooking sport and fought the greatest of all time you bums, he won't fight me in the Octagon, he can't beat me in a real fooking foight"
:lol1::lol1::lol1:
And then he said it again in the build up to Diaz 2. That the fact he was eating steak for breakfast and over eating because he didn't cut weight effected his performance aka another excuse to why he lost. I mean, once again literally the definition of an excuse.
He wasn't listing what he can improve on, he was giving reasons to why he lost and the reasons listed were excuses.
It's like saying Pacquaio doesn't give excuses. He has "reasons"
Ok then if it makes you feel better McGregor has a lot of "reasons" why he lost :lol1:
No it's not the same at all, and I'm sorry if you can't see the difference :lol1:
He said that after the fight with RDA was cancelled, he stopped giving a fuk about weight etc. That was true - Did you see him rub his belly at the weigh in?
Again, there's a big difference.
You seem to think if anyone says something they can improve on, it's an excuse which is ridiculous. He clearly gave nate full props after both fights in the octagon, out of the octagon and even months later.

Probably. Could you imagine if Floyd actually accepted AND won? The internet would break.
Lmao! Yes it would. The only way I see Floyd winning in the octagon is if conor actually didn't kick or lock-up with him & try to fight standing but we know that wont happen.
He doesn't need an excuse. He is taking on the best of the last x years/decades/generations in his own sport. Floyd wouldn't last a round under MMA rules.
He didn't say it, but he definitely heavily alluded to it.
Thus the excuse. One of many actually.

Giving a reason for what he could have done better is not an excuse. That's just common sense. :lol1:
An excuse is when you blame something specifically for your defeat. Which he didn't do.
He didn't at any stage say "if I didn't eat steak I would have beaten him" for example.

If you list a reason why you lost a fight then effectivly you are making an excuse. That's what an excuse is.
"The reason I lost is because x y z" is an excuse.
Whether it's true or not or logical or illogical it's irrelevant just don't say it.
I lost he won, I'll adjust and win the rematch. Leave it at that, that is not having any excuses.
Saying "no excuses but he was too big, I didn't prepare this way, I didn't do this, I did this"
Are LITERALLY excuses. Literally THE definition of making an excuse to why you lost.
He is literally listing reasons to lessen the blame for why the lost the fight.

I think you confuse reason with excuses. They aren't the same.

I don't know. I think McGregor isn't going to make excuses. As loud as he can be, he seems very humble. Such a no lose situation for him. Good thing it is only boxing. I'd hate for Mayweather Jr. to take a severe injury like Ali did against Inoki. If they aren't already, I think Floyd and Conor are about as close as friends as possible. Who wouldn't love another person that allowed them to make such a fortune? :)
Yeah I'll just go into my "McGregor excuse files"
I don't have links because most of these things he said I watched on TV or on youtube like a year ago in the build up to his 2 fights I've seen live.
But I heard all of the above with my own 2 ears so I know they were said. Don't think I'm lying about it.
It's ok, fighters tend to make excuses for loss's or bad peformances and clearly McGregor is definitely one of them because like I said. All of the above were literally said.

Show us the links :lol1:
