I remember the night he made those comments very clearly. He said them in response to the racist comments he was receiving from Pacquiao fans on Ustream. Floyd didn't even want to talk about Pacquiao but the fans kept asking him when he would finally face Pacquiao. When Floyd did not respoond they preceded to call him a "nigger." And after receiving the abuse Floyd lashed out with the racial stereotypes about Asians. And the difference is that Floyd apologized the very next day while Conor pretty much doubled down on what he said. Don't be an idiot. Pacland is full of that sh1t...using the N word because Floyd beat Manny, and then the excuses fly. Manny has turned out to be a VERY sore loser, much more than I ever expected.

Neither Mayweather or Pacquiao are poster boys for tolerance. Why you felt the need to point out that Mayweather's comments came first is beyond me. No, I tried to make that point clear in my post. American society breeds racism in black people and excuses it because of their past history and their struggles today. Floyd, like an unfortunate amount of black people, is not smart enough to rise above these social constructs, and in turn ends up creating a more toxic racial atmosphere in this country. With that said, I've long since stopped rooting for Floyd Mayweather, the man. There's honestly not much to root for there. I will always be a fan of Floyd Mayweather, the boxer. From a pure discipline and focus POV, he's one of the best to ever do it. He's a positive example for any athlete in any sport on the amount of dedication it takes to perfect a craft. It's unfortunate that his positive attributes end there. I approve of this post.
