looking at mcgreggor fighting stand up in mma isnt a good predictor. its stand up, its not boxing. Now the funny thing is, from all of the boxing sparring ive seen of mcgreggor, he uses almost the same stance when boxing, he looks like hes ****ing fencing or just came out of the 1890s barenuckle era. People pointed out that hes still staying low like he would in mma to resist take downs. His habits are already set, the guy cant box for **** and that isnt really his fault. you cant learn to box at even a B level in the year hes been considering this fight. he looks like complete chit against the C level no name guys he spars.

Mcgregor definitely hits hard (at least enough to hurt a small, old floyd early) you can see it in his form, he's very strong and punches through, all that strength though limits his power for only about 5-10 minutes. Floyd is old as sht, unless he gets a pro like ariza or gets on some high grade good stuff he's going to show up even worse than he did vs berto, so he wont hit as hard as mcgregor, but mcgregor is weak chinned and he'll be very susceptible to being hurt from the midpoint on. Floyd just has to jab mcgregor for a few rds to wait out his power and "footwork" than start working him and dominate. Fight is going to be boring as sht. BS over the glove weight. It's licensed as a Boxing match by NSAC and are using Uniform Rules of Boxing: over 147# must use 10 ounce gloves. They can use any 10 oz. boxing gloves approved by NSAC unless otherwise specified in their contracts.
