Lol I don't have the source, but there's a little took called Google you can use to find the source.
ALLEGEDLY, he's fighting Connor to pay off IRS for back taxes, specifically for 2015.
The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree. Soon he will be flat broke, selling his gym, and training fighter working for the new owner.... :lol1:
In 2009 he owed over $5m in back taxes, in 2011 over $3M...he has a history of IRS troubles. I'm fairly confident that he has enough of his money invested that he will never go truly broke. Broke my Mayweather standards is different than broke by ours. Maybe in the end his net worth is whittled down to $20-30M, but I don't think he will ever be flat broke eating dog food out of a can.
The thing about Mayweather and other athletes who blow through hundreds of millions, is that they have no intellectual curiosity. After a while they get bored with their money, they run out of creative ideas on how to live their life and enjoy it. After all of the cars, jewelry, prostitutes, strip clubs, mansions, and traveling, they get bored. Often times the biggest culprit is gambling. It's the only thing that gives them a true high on their money, and as anyone can tell you, gambling always favors the house.
Tell us more about the lifestyles of the rich and famous throbbin leetch.

Floyd will be fighting well into his mid 40s. He is just too dumb to manage the kind of money that he is able to make.
I assume he is going to start posting pics of money, cars, houses, etc to show social media he isn't broke...but those of us who live in the real world know better.
Not that i care how much money he has(he seems to want everyone to care) but let's be honest, he is a degenerate gambler, and no matter how rich he is, he will lose it all in the end, he's hardly a level headed down to earth guy who is going to invest his money wisely, he's a money obsessed, materialistic gambler. so....yeah doesn't surprise me one iota..
He will come back out of retirement for the 10th time in a year or 2 to sell his '0' against a top welterweight and probably get knocked out..
This is so true. I've heard a few defenses of his gambling and spending problems, mostly centered around "he has enough money to throw away" - ignoring the fact that money still burns at the same rate when you're blowing it proportionately. The local derro drops $100 into the pokies and waves it goodbye - Floyd loses $100K in the same amount of time.
The guy will be filing for bankruptcy eventually - he doesn't have the smarts to stop.
I was expecting at least 10 years into retirement before he goes broke. He's only in his first year.
Floyd can earn 100million a year but spend 150 million a year.
LOL @ some of you fools legit thinking he's broke. The dude is worth $400 million and has various businesses and streams of revenue besides boxing (promotional company, real estate, the money team clothing, his own strip club, clothing stores, his own music company, Bad Medina cosmetics etc. He's probably making at least $15 million a year minimum without boxing so to this thread is an epic fail.
Not to mention he's about to make another $100 million plus next month then do the same again next year. There has always been rumors about his tax/money etc because when your at the top people will always throw rocks at the thrown to try to bring you down to their levels, but the truth is he's making more outside boxing than a lot of these guys are doing in it. Why? Because even if you guys stay up late just to hate on the man, the reality is whenever he fights you'll always stop & watch. So keep hating, giving him free promotion and buying his PPV's, LOL!

Not quite. I can think of a few off top of my head that were greater. Hitler should come to everyone's mind. However. I do get your point. In boxing it would definetly be number one. I doubt he is broke though. But i think he can go broke if he isn't smart With his money. He has plenty of money to be "ignit"with and to be "wise" with. Meaning he can give plenty of strippers 100k eachfornlap dances but still have mils in the stock market. Time I'll tell.
I meant in Sports.
But I agree with your post. We'll see.
If Floyd ends up broke it will be the biggest rise and fall story ever.
