If a knockout happens I believe it's going to come from Triple G. If it goes 12. And it looks like to our eyes that Triple G won by 8 rounds to 4 or 7 to 5, Canelo is going to get the decision. If it looks like Triple G won 9 rounds to 3 or more then it will be harder to give Canelo the decision. But **** I'm even starting to doubt that. Triple G really needs a KO or an undeniable, absolute thrashing of Canelo for 12 rounds with knockdowns probably to get a decision. We'll see, but the deck is stacked against Triple G.

Golovkin could be robbed and so could Alvarez, it has been that kind of year.

If it goes the distance, I can definitely see Canelo getting the nod, regardless if he deserved it or not. He's the bigger upside in terms of PPV potential and has the age to keep it that way for a longer period of time.

where is this concept, that canelo is a better boxer than an olympic silver medalist with over 300 amateur fights, coming from? He doesn't necessarily has to be the better boxer. And amateur experience doesn't always necessarily matters in a fight. Pro experience at the top level > amateurs.

I remember when the majority of the forum, including me, predicted Bute would beat Froch but get robbed in Nottingham. That blew up in everybodies faces. You don't bet against the guy who's fought the tougher opponents, even if they've looked mediocre in the past, it's just so much easier to look great vs bums like Bute did. It tricks your brain into thinking the guy steamrolling through his weak opponents is better than the guy winning but not looking so great against much better opposition. I think Canelo is going to beat GGG very clearly and it will be surprising. It's going to be another case of the guy where the resume of the guy who hasn't really fought anyone is going to come back and backfire on him and his fans. the guy with better pro experience and who's faced more adversity, more hate, has been on the spotlight more will win.
