So I watched both ESPN and Box Nation feeds of the Pac-Horn fight.
Seems BoxNation was distributed by Top Rank to all people viewing the fight outside of the US.
After watching the fight multiple times... I feel Box Nation sucked and weren't objective. They don't know how to score fights.
ESPN had it right. They were a bit dramatic but they had it right.
8 rounds to 4 Pacquiao with some competitive rounds mixed in there.
Originally scored it 115-112.. after rewatching.. I now see 116-111.
What are your opinions? I'm particularly interested in those who see BoxNation all the time in the UK.
Just find it interesting. 2 different feeds. 2 entirely different views on how the fight went. Obviously it can influence the viewers and casuals in particular.
Aint no casuals watching Jeff Horn on Boxnation at 4am.

Well out of the 3 feeds only one had it wide for Pacquaio.
The other two had it close which makes sense because it was close.

I saw on twitter that Top Rank commentary had it a draw. Where did you see boxnation was the top rank feed?
It's you that needs to learn how to score a fight. Horn clearly won a lot of the opening 6 rounds and picked up at least a couple of the last 6. It was a close fight.
Boxnation's feed was Barry Jones and John Rawling.
I doubt that was TR's feed.

Either way.. people shouldn't put too much weight on what Top Rank tries to sell us..
There are conspiracy theories with Arum involved.
Yeah true, but the comments responding to him seemed to all be saying the same thing, all international commentary had it close, a round either way, not what ESPN were saying.
If you can, can you list any reputable international analysts who called it close?.. thanks.
I'm hard pressed to find any.
My opinion is that most people don't score the fights when they watch them. Most people ARE influenced by the commentary. Especially casual fans. Being that boxing is such a subjective sport, people can fall for the narrative. That's why most people who watched box nation think differently.
I definitely had Pac winning the fight, but before the 8th round i remember turning to my gf and saying idk what espn is talking about, Pac is winning rounds, but he looks like hes breaking. I always felt like it was a close fight.
When I heard the 117-111 I knee Pac won because there's no way you could give Horn that many rounds. I could see maybe a draw, but even then...
That's why I say robbery even if I thought Pac only won 7 rounds. Horn didn't have any clear rounds like Pac had. Even the 10th was one I thought Pac could have won.
Good points made.
I don't have cable or ESPN, so I watched the Boxnation stream because my ESPN stream started lagging after the 1st round.
My buddy and I both thought it was close but thought Pac edged it, even looking as old and sluggish as he did. My buddy who is a casual fan thought Pac won even with Boxnation's commentary. Horn was more aggressive but clearly missed most of his punches, you don't need compubox to see that he was throwing more, but was hitting air and Pac's gloves all night.
After hearing 117-111, I was also like "yup Pac got it." Wrong lol.
Paulie? EVERYONE knows not to listen to him regarding anthing related to Pacquiao. ...
Paulie hates Pac. . ..and is not credible

ESPN getting called out for being bias, espescially Paulie Malignaggi, hes going wild.
I had it same as the Boxnation guy.
Recent contreversial ones I can remember on Boxnation same guy think had Jacobs winning against Golovkin, and I think had Gonzalez beating Rungvisai.
Malignaggi despises Pacquiao. I'm not surprised at all.
ESPN was very bias. They were pushing the boxing is corrupt agenda hard, but I still scoring it for Horn...i just don't see it.

Boxnation had Horn Winning.
ESPN were biased as hell. To be expected they wanted Pacquiao to win having just signed a deal with Top Rank.
Boxnation was Top ranks feed..I think you got it twisted. They were the biased ones.
My stance is closer to how Bradley saw it. Tim knows his $#/t.
If you think Horn won or was even close especially after a ReWatch.. then sorry, you can't score properly.
