Hi guys, Im a guy who follows heavyweight boxing closely. I'm just not interested in the top boxers like Joshua, Wilder, Klitschko, Fury etc. So I've been following Jun Long Zhang(Dragon King) for a few years but the resources I can reach about him are very limited.
Is there a link that I can follow his previous fights? Especially on youtube or other video sites.
A few months ago he was in the top 15 in the WBA but he does not appear in the list now. His fight card looks pretty impressive so, 17-0, 17 KOs, all bouts in China. Except beating Nico Toriri in 5 rounds, all KOs are no more than 3 rounds.
What is the chance of that man against the current champions?(Joshua, Wilder, Parker)

Sounds about right.
Im shocked! I did not know anything about the things written here so, It's very interesting that this guy has an imaginary career :)
Yea that makes sense. The way it's going, looks like AJ is fighting next in Nigeria and then they already have offers to fight in the Middle East. He has the potential to become a real global superstar on a whole new level.
I think he'll do the Wlad rematch in Vegas then fight Pulev in either Dubai or Nigeria..
tommy morrison's aids riddled dead body would knock that guy unconscious.
not sure why anybody takes the sanctioning bodies seriously, they're some of the most corrupt professional organizations in all of sport. you can get ranked based on arm twisting, leveraging, and flat out bribery.

they (WBA) took him out saying that some of his fights where fix/never happened.... etc
I guess an average scrub fight gets like 200mm views in China. Apparently the Chinese Premier or whatever is a huge boxing fan so their state channel shows fights. AJ vs Zhang Zhilei (a rematch of their Olympic match) at the birds nest would probably draw over a billion views. Crazy..
Why are they taking things so slow with Zhilei?

Anthony Joshua vs. Big-Titted Chinaman would make a lot of money over there.

Over the past couple of days there have been some peculiar developments in Chinese boxing, specifically with Heavyweight destroyer Zhang Junlong (13-0, 13)* who has been accused of faking fights and doctoring his professional record by the WBA.
The “Dragon King” is accused of having a record full of fraudulent wins and has been ordered to provide video proof of his actual bouts.
Whilst the fighter himself has gained some notoriety it must be said that his bouts have been hard to track in full, often with only clips from the contests emerging through the Chinese media. Saying that however it seems that the WBA have only reacted after Junlong's team stated they were starting a WBA tournament and after an unnamed individual began to cause trouble.
On July 6th Junlong held a press conference to announce that there would be a WBA Heavyweight tournament in China. Just a day later the WBA reacted by stating the competition wasn't authorised by themselves and suggested that Junlong's record, and career, should be questioned.
It seems that those around the “Dragon King” have suggested that much of the doubt on Junlong's record is due to the way boxing is run in China, with many of the bouts being held under what would be considered “unofficial commissions”, similar to the KPBA in Korea and the MBC in the UK and with certain individuals trying to derail the career of Junlung
Notably Junlong won the WBA Oceania Heavyweight title this past April and we suspect that they should recognise that title, especially given that one of the judges for that bout is one of the key figures behind the WBA Oceania. He was also ranked #14 by the WBA in a recent ranking update. For them to now question his record seems bizarre and the due diligence done by the WBA really needs to be questioned given the way they have ranked the Chinese Heavyweight.
Having reached out to Junlong's team we have been assured that the issue will be sorted and that it is just a case of a particular individual causing trouble in Chinese boxing and that Junlong will continue to work alongside the WBA, and that they have evidence of Junlong's previous bouts.
Sounds about right.
That Youtube fight is hilarious. Looks like some WWE sh^t. Guy just falls like Moises Flores & don't move for minutes like he's dead off of a punch I'm not even sure landed.
For the Chinese HW's I'm more into Zhilei "Big Bang" Zhang. He's older too, but he's actually in shape, is big as f#ck & can actually fight too which is an often underrated thing at HW for big mfers. Now idk about him even getting to the fringe contender level, but I think he's the most capable Chinese HW & largely cuz he's US based so has access to better training, better sparring & better opponents.
Yeah, I think he's the guy that will fight AJ in China actually. Hearn already mentioned it.
I've been wondering about him for a while as well. Freedom gave me a little info on him in the past, so he might know where to find some stuff on him. Joe Strong is the man when it comes to finding video's of more obscure HW's, he would be the guy to ask.

On a serious note never heard of him but the first clip I watched;

Might have to post again in the worst dives ever thread though its no doubt already had a mention or two

Prejudice and corruption.
They just tryin to keep the Chinaman down.
