Manny Pacquiao's trainer advised the Filipino legend to quit boxing Monday after his sensational defeat to unheralded Australian Jeff Horn. While controversy raged over the scoring of Sunday's World Boxing Organization welterweight title bout in Brisbane, after all three judges awarded it to unbeaten Horn, there were doubts whether 38-year-old Pacquiao would return for a possible rematch. Great to see Roach has Pacquiao's back...not! How about coming up with a plan to combat a UFC fighter? He sparred with an Australian LIGHTWEIGHT that was supposed to mimic Horn. Horn looked like a raging Canelo in there! Time for Pacquiao to clean camp!
Can you really spar and prepare for headlocks? Headbutts? Rough house tactics? A lot of that should of been referee control, but it was not.

Stop watching your favourite fighters fight past their prime. It's depressing. I'm going through Pac's career set to remember how he was, not the pathetic zombie he's become.
Haha, it's rough man, but I hear ya.
I was rewinding back to Pac-Morales 2. What a frikin war that was and to see the kind of relentless pressure he had was amazing to see.
Unfortunately everyone has to go through this with their favorite fighters. I feel bad for the prime Jones Jr. fans. That dude never gives them a break :pat:
Its pathetic to force this little ass dude to have to KO guys. Lame ass yahoo writer Kevin Iole has been dissing Pacquiao for the past 5 years for not being able to KO these bigger guys, he even downplays his performances just because he cant KO them
No other fighter in history has been pressured to have to KO someone to impress than Pacquiao, its strange as fuk, the guy is naturally small he is undersized and was never a one punch KO guy, Pac shouldnt have to live up to those ultimate expectations is almost cruel in a sense because Pacman really tries to KO guys but just cant and he gassed out trying.
He should just box like he did with David Diaz and Oscar focus on pot shotting and moving around.
he proved how good he was against Mayweather/Bradley
Pac had a lot of bullshht/hype, no question..... mostly based on excellent matchmaking/timing, especially against older faded opponents or guys who were made-to-order..... there was also a lot of weight/contractual manipulation, and there were also probably..... "other" issues.....
and Manny has never been able to distance himself from Marquez..... despite having 40+ rounds opportunity
because of the "other" issues mentioned above, I base my assessment of Pac around the sternest tests he faced when undeniably clean..... the fading version of Morales that he fought in their first fight, and Marquez I..... both of which exposed limitations in his game..... Mayweather, and Bradley
in saying that..... that was a vintage performance from a great fighter in Morales, the type of experience that is priceless for a young star on his way up..... and in the lower weights you had to be world-class to live with Marquez for 12 rounds..... he smoked more people than Wyatt Earp, and yet Manny nearly blew him away
his three fights with Bradley proved that Pac is on a higher level, and he performed much better than I expected against Mayweather..... who did out-skill/out-hustle Pac, but did not truly outclass him
he is clearly a terrific fighter who had way too much for Bradley and enough to keep Mayweather honest, even at 147
at 140+ Pac has been punching above his weight
If u call this a robbery, you are either blind, biased or brianwashed by two retar dz commentators Altas & Smith. Even Pacman own promoter Arum scored the fight for Horn. That say alot, I dont listen to all this biased nonsense.
The same Arum that just picked up a 3 fight co-promotion deal with Duco Events and now co-promotes Horn? This has happened twice now in recent memory, the moment Arum needs Pacquaio to sign an extension he makes him lose the belt. Same shh that happened in Bradley vs Pacquaio 1. Unless Pacquaio was going to fight in the fall his extension with Top Rank was done after this fight. Now he's forced to eat shh sign an extension just to be able to enact a rematch. Listen bro when sites that are anti-Pacquiao have manned up to call it a rubbish result it says a lot.

Manny deserves this rematch as a "going away" party in Manila! He should NOT retire after a ROBBERY! He's simply not big enough at 147 to get KOs like he used to, and let's face it, we know those "suspect shakes" were helping back in the day! Why do they keep putting him in fights @ 147, then complain of how big the opponents are? Do the catch-weight fight with Loma! He made a living off catch-weight fights earlier in his career, so what's the problem now? Manny should have options, Horn @ 147, Crawford @ 140, or Loma @ 135, or retirement! Choose wisely champ!
Manny did not lose the fight even though he trained like 5 hours total. What Manny needs is to fire that damn Roach that is only telling him to retire and messing his mitt work. Roach should do the sport of boxing a favor and retire, all the fighters that are with him are looking like **** lately.
I think his legs are finally going. Back in the day he could handle bigger fighters because of his footwork and perpetual movement. Now? Dude was getting bullied around by Jeff Horn.
I agree his legs look shot in my opinion. Unless a Mayweather rematch comes calling he should retire.
And he should only take it because the reward of 100million plus far outweighs the risk of losing.
Otherwise PAC doesn't have anything to prove to me or anyone
He was a sitting duck and didn't really move his feet well. Horn could take advantage for the most part.

PAC should rematch Horn get the win then retire before he has to face someone good and go out getting KO'd.
Keep him away from Spence, Thurman, Brook, Crawford and other fighters with that KO power.
The Manny that fought Horn would get Hurt badly by any of those guys.

Honestly Khan probably torches the Manny we saw last night.
Never thought I'd see the day I'd consider it a possibility, but here it is. I don't know about torching him, but I think he'll lose handily.
I don't know about him winning the rematch. If he fights like he did last night there Is a pretty good chance he ends up getting caught and knocked out.
It looked as If Pacquiao abandoned boxing all together and decided to stand toe to toe with Horn, gunning for the KO. Horn Is a massive welterweight and probably was somewhere around 160+ by fight time. Pacquiao Is not knocking out a welterweight that big at this point In his career.
If Manny Is still capable of boxing and moving as he has been doing since the KO loss to Marquez, he could win a unanimous decision. I guess we will see because there will be a rematch, I don't think Manny will accept finishing his career with a loss.
I think he would fight much smarter
1) beat Horn
2) ride off into sunset
perfect ending
Manny is done at 147. he was beating guys with his speed. Prime ww Manny, that stopped Cotto, would finish Horn easily. But now he is much slower. He should move down if he continues fighting.
