The early rounds Atlas gave Horn no credit. In my opinion Horn won the first half of the fight. Listening to Atlas you'd think PAC was destroying this guy. I actually thought it would be a close decision at the end. I just don't get this notion that PAC blew this guy out easy.
What exactly was Atlas seeing, PAC only clocked the guy in the 9th round, other than that they were both sloppy and flailing all night!
I also read a rumor on youtube in the comments section (I know, not exactly a rock solid source of information :lol1: ) that Elie was kicked out and barred from the Wildcard because he was trying to interview dudes in the showers
That was one theory for his sudden turn on Pacquiao lol
:lol1::lol1:
100% Sounds like something that weirdo would do

I now know it's deleted because I saved the picture of the thumbnail, uploaded it to Google so google can lead me to the original and it couldn't find it.
Elie hung around the gym but that interview changed everything, they spoke about Jesus and I remember Elie responding, I don't remember to what specifically but saying that he was Jewish and Pacquiao kept pressing him.
You guys gotta remember, Elie was a huge Pacquiao fan/ Mayweather hater once upon a time.
So basically Pacquiao tried converting him? Or was he just disappointed in Ellie's religious beliefs? That's pretty low if that's what caused Elie to disown him at the drop of a hat.
It's not about whether he thought Horn won or loss, it's about how disrespectful he was to Horn on national tv....completely uncalled for!
Yeah I guess...but honestly we see this a lot in boxing. Now maybe guys try to be a little bit more tactful than Teddy was there, but even then...it ain't by much. We've seen Max Kellerman and Jim Gray do the exact same thing in the past in post fight interviews when a guy got a questionable decision.
Now there's a narrative surfacing that tries to make it seem as if only Atlas saw it this way
And that only casuals who don't know sh*t about boxing are just piggybacking off his commentary, leading them to believe that Manny won when he really lost
Just last night, as I surfed youtube and twitter, here are the boxers that I saw with my own eyes say that Pacquiao won the fight:
Errol Spence (retweeted tweets about Pacquiao getting robbed), Andre Berto (on youtube), Gabe Rosado (on youtube), Lennox Lewis (on twitter), Guillermo Rigondeaux (on twitter), Lou DiBella (on twitter), Claressa Shields (on twitter), Devon Alexander (on twitter), Billy Joe Saunders (on twitter), Sergio Mora (on twitter), Ray Beltran (on twitter), Cornelius Bundrage (on twitter).
And those are just the ones I saw. Feel free to verify those, too. These are actual people in the sport. These aren't casual fans that were swayed by a freaking commentator.

Do you remember what Manny was questioning him on? I didn't even realize that Manny knew Elie even existed :lol1:

No luck sadly but this was the same exact setting of the video, I wouldn't doubt that Elie deleted the original but I know I posted it on here more than once.

Lol I don't even know the story behind that...what happened? Like what beliefs was he questioning? :lol1:

Currently hunting for the video, bare with me lol
I know I'm getting closer since it was an actual interview
Everything went south once Pacquiao questioned Elie's beliefs, this was on video too and I mean everything. I still remember when he was as big a Pacquiao fan as anyone.

Oh yeah and even Elie Seckbach's ass thought Manny won the fight, lol. And Elie picks against Manny in every single one of the fantasy match-ups that involve Pacquiao in his videos :lol1:

What Atlas did was wrong on every level, he should be suspended by espn for that atrocious commentary
So we don't want honest now? We want to be lied to and we want announcers to lie to the fighters. Atlas was very classy face to face when he told Horn he thought he lost wasn't disrespectful at all
Stop What? Atlas felt Pacquiao won and and he expressed that on Air :dunno:
Atlas told Horn to his face he felt he lose he didn't run and write a article about it after the fact like most of the boxing media does :dunno:

He was incorrigible. The man would actually bash Bradley for even attempting to give Horn credit during the fight then ripped him for giving Horn credit after the fight. ****ing unreal man.
No doubt he called it the way ESPN wanted to see it, I'm sure that top rank contract cost them some money, and maybe he put a wager on PAC and was determined to not lose his cash! He seriously wanted PAC by stoppage

Because Bradley was fooled into thinking Horn's flailing was causing damage! Atlas had to set him straight. Somebody could have pointed out that Floyd's taps were NOT connecting to Pacquiao also. First and foremost, you need to all the fight CORRECTLY. Secondly, avoid the bias. He did give the guy props for coming to win.
